Sell Tank Bigsby

Tank Bigsby had his best game of the season in Travis Etienne’s absence. He still wasn’t involved in the passing game, but that didn’t slow him down in Week 7, as he compiled just shy of 120 yards on the ground with 27 total opportunities and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, that is where the good ends for Bigsby. From Week 8 through the fantasy football championship, he has just two matchups against the bottom half of the league defenses against opposing running backs. The Jaguars offense is still searching for a true identity and Trevor Lawrence has not lived up to the hype. Low scoringopportunities and a zero in the pass game all mean that Bigsby’s time in the spot light is coming to and end. In both dynasty and redraft formats you should be looking to sell Bigsby. Some players I would look to acquire are David Montgomery, Brian Robinson, James Conner, Tank Dell, and Amari Cooper.

Buy Low on Tank Dell

Tank Dell has struggled to get going this season. Still in Week 7 he saw a 21% target share. It is still unclear if and when we will see Nico Collins. Dell should continue to see a high target share all season and will continue to improve as he gets back to full speed after last season’s brutal leg injury. Dell has had some bad touchdown luck that would have changed some of his narratives this year. CJ Stroud has made it a point to come out after last week’s game to say that Tank Dell needs to be a focal point of the offense going forward. The good news for Dell is that because he has been so volatile during the 2024 season, he should not cost much to acquire. Some players I would look to sell for Dell right now are Tank Bigsby, Chuba Hubbard, Najee Harris, Tony Pollard, Michael Pittman and Khalil Shakir.

Explore Trading Away Malik Nabers

In full PPR leagues Malik Nabers still has the WR1 value that makes him a great trade candidate. The Giants are going to play quarterback carousel between Daniel Jones and Drew Lock for the remainder of the season, and more importantlythey lost starting left tackle Andrew Thomas. The loss will mean even less time for whoever is throwing Nabers passes will have less time. Nabers profiles as a volume dependent WR2 the rest of the way unless he can find the end zone. I have no problem with managers riding with Nabers the rest of the season but with his current value, even after a down week, means you may be able to sell up in redraft leagues. Some players I would look to acquire for Nabers would be CeeDee Lamb, DK Metcalf (injured, you will need to monitor), Kenneth Walker, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Brock Bowers (may need to get more on top here, league dependent).

Buy Low on Jets Pass Catchers

Well, the Jets’ first game with Davante Adams has come and gone, and it proved what many already believed. The Jets have no plan. Adams, Wilson, and Breece Hall all had nine targets in this one, but Breece Hall was the only player to finish as a top-10 option at his position. The silver lining for fantasy football is that the targets were distributed exactly as you would have hoped if you roster both Adams and Wilson. Both pass catchers surpassed the 23% target share and they won’t have to face the Steelers every week. In fact, from Week 8 through the fantasy championship, the Jets only face two teams that rank in the top half of the league against opposing wide receivers. Even in a world where Adams does start to separate as the true number one on this team, Wilson’s usage and efficiency should provide managers with enough value to help you win week in and week out. Some players I would be okay trading for Adams right now would be Diontae Johnson, James Conner, Najee Harris, Tony Pollard and Javonte Williams. Some players I would trade for Wilson would be all of the players listed previously as well as JK Dobbins and Chuba Hubbard.

Dynasty Move to Make: Buy Nico Collins and Brandon Aiyuk

In Dynasty leagues, you should have a clear picture of whether you are a contender or a pretender. The important thing is being honest with yourself. As you navigate this question, it tells you just how much you should be offering either Collins or Aiyuk. As things stand now we do not have much information on Collins’ expected return date. That ambiguity does make his asking price higher, but with a player of Collins’ caliber, it is almost certainly worth it. Collins has not played in nearly three full games and is still the WR7 in half-PPR leagues and the WR10 in full PPR. Before the injury, Collins was on pace to be the WR1 on the season. He is a top 10 dynasty wide receiver tied to a young premier passer of the football. Options for trade will be listed below. When it comes to Brandon Aiyuk the asking price is far more affordable. He was having a down season and suffered a torn ACL which means he may be heading to a slow start to NEXT season. Aiyuk is an elite route runner and separator. He was the most efficient wide receiver outside of only Nico Collins and Tyreek Hill over the last 5 years. The slow start was predictable with his hold out and I would not be surprised to see the 49ers break up the team some after this season, Aiyuk could find his way to alpha usage from Brock Purdy. If he does, the sky is the limit.
