Quarterback Streamers: Week 11

Diving into three QBs to stream to help win your weekly matchup!

Welcome back to another week of QB streamers, where I highlight three signal callers with sub-70% roster rates (on Yahoo! Sports) based on a variety of different reasons — personnel, weapons, previous performances, analytics, matchups, and so on.

Lions’ Jared Goff was this week’s leader in passing yards, throwing for 320 on 76% completion and 3 TDs. He was also this week’s leader in passer rating (135.9). Niners’ Mac Jones and Bills’ Josh Allen were the only two additional QBs to eclipse three hundred yards this week. Rams’ Matthew Stafford continues to be a legitimate MVP candidate, leading the week with four passing touchdowns — his third consecutive week with at least four tuddy’s.

Now, let’s dive into which QBs to stream in Week 11!

Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders

Opponent Matchup Rating Yahoo! Roster Rate Proj. Pts
@ MIA 3/5 14% 19.85

He may not be Jayden Daniels, but Marcus Mariota has provided a decent cushion in fantasy production while taking over as a backup/spot starter in place of the injured star. Although he took the loss last week — something the Commanders have been doing a lot of this year — Mariota tied his best mark in passing yards (213) and TDs (2) in a game this season, plus a season-high in completion percentage (73%), passer rating (133.3), and QBR (82.8) against a quality Lions team. His legs are also a threat when needed, rushing for at least 20 yards on designed carries in every game he’s played since taking over the starting role. All things are looking up, I suppose.

Mariota and the Commanders face off against the Dolphins, a team that’s allowed the eighth-most PPR points to QBs per game (20.3).

Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals

Opponent Matchup Rating Yahoo! Roster Rate Proj. Pts
@ PIT 3/5 48% 16.48

Joe Flacco has been nothing short of exceptional since joining the Bengals, and he faces a favorable matchup against the Steelers — the same defense Flacco diced up for 342 yards and 3 TDs not too long ago. This is also the sixth-worst defense in terms of allowing PPR points to fantasy QBs this season. The Bengals under Flacco have combined for 119 total points over the past three games (~40 per game) with nine touchdowns coming via air of their new signal caller. Before the bye week, Flacco went 31-for-47 (66%), amassing a whopping 470 yards and four touchdowns. He also turned in a season-high 109.4 passer rating, averaging ~10 yards per game.

Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Opponent Matchup Rating Yahoo! Roster Rate Proj. Pts
vs. CIN 3/5 38% 17.37

Flacco is one half of round two of the Unc Bowl. While Aaron Rodgers‘ team took the loss last time, they didn’t go out without a fight. The 41-year-old threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns, turning in a season-high QBR (71) against the Bengals, who have allowed the fourth-most PPR points per game to fantasy QBs this season. Rodgers won’t “wow” you with his ceiling, but the low floor and ability to throw for touchdowns are what give him a quality floor if you need to stream for a QB.

That’s it for this week! If there are any questions, comments, concerns, or you want to see more (MLB, NFL, etc.), feel free to hit my official Pitcher List/QB List social media up @ggeiss_PL and I’d be happy to chat!
