Quarterback Streamers: Week 13

Diving into three QBs to stream to help win your weekly matchup!

Welcome back to another week of QB streamers, where I highlight three signal callers with sub-70% roster rates (on Yahoo! Sports) based on a variety of different reasons — personnel, weapons, previous performances, analytics, matchups, and so on.

Week 12 was led by none other than leaguewide fan favorite, Jameis Winston, throwing for a whopping 366 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Lions. While his efficiency wasn’t quite on point (just 50% completion), Winston managed to keep his Giants in the game with limited weapons around him. He also caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from wideout Gunner Olszewski, making a guy miss in the open field. Jameis will Jameis! Rams’ Matthew Stafford, Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence, and Bears’ Caleb Williams all sit tied for first place this week with 3 passing touchdowns. Stafford also led all qualified QBs with a 122.7 passer rating.

Now, let’s dive into which QBs to stream in Week 13!

Jameis Winston, New York Giants

Opponent Matchup Rating Yahoo! Roster Rate Proj. Pts
@ NE 2/5 4% 7.15

As mentioned above, Winston had himself a ballgame against a Lions defense that has been quite effective lately, allowing just ~16 points per game to opposing offenses over their last five weeks before facing New York. He connected with former second-round product, Wan’Dale Robinson, nine times on fourteen targets for 156 yards and a touchdown. Winston faces a tough matchup against the Patriots on Monday Night Football this week, a defense that’s been middle of the pack against QBs in terms of PPR points allowed per game in 2025. Starting Winston would be relying heavily on his boom (or bust) ability. Of course, Winston’s streaming appeal is completely contingent on whether or not Jaxson Dart returns to the field, but if the Giants choose to play it safe with their franchise QB’s concussion, Winston remains a viable (and fun) streamer.

Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

Opponent Matchup Rating Yahoo! Roster Rate Proj. Pts
@ TB 4/5 59% 17.14

Brissett has been quite the steady contributor since taking over the starting role from an injured Kyler Murray. While last week’s one-touchdown performance did snap a streak of five consecutive weeks passing for 2+ scores, Brissett has turned in back-to-back weeks with over 300 passing yards on over 100 combined attempts. If you need a starter with a high floor, look no further.

Brissett faces an optimal matchup against a Bucs defense — fresh off of allowing 34 points to the Rams — that has been brutal against fantasy QBs, ranking T-2nd worst in PPR points allowed per game this year.

Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

Opponent Matchup Rating Yahoo! Roster Rate Proj. Pts
vs. MIN 3/5 61% 16.97

Darnold looked good coming off an absolutely brutal performance against the Rams, turning in 244 air yards with 2 TDs and no interceptions in limited action against the Titans, snapping a stretch of four consecutive weeks with an INT. His 118.1 passer rating was the best it’s been in weeks, dating all the way back to when the Seahawks routed the Commanders. It was also good to see Darnold averaging over 9 yards per passing attempt — he’s been exceptional when posting numbers over this mark in 2025.

While Darnold’s matchup, the Vikings, seem to fare well against fantasy QBs, they’ve allowed 20+ points in all but one of their contests this year.

That’s it for this week! If there are any questions, comments, concerns, or you want to see more (MLB, NFL, etc.), feel free to hit my official Pitcher List/QB List social media up @ggeiss_PL and I’d be happy to chat!
