Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Quarterback:
- Jameis Winston (Start/QB1)
Jameis Winston gets an elite matchup in the semifinals of the fantasy playoffs as the Bucs face the Lions. For the season, the Lions rank in the top third of the most fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks but have gotten worse as the season wears on/they have nothing left to play for. Winston on the other hand, will be his usual DGAF self and sling the ball all over the field. Winston comes in as a high-end QB1 this week and currently sits as the QB6 on the year despite leading the league in interceptions.
Running Backs:
- Peyton Barber (Sit)
- Ronald Jones (Start/Flex?)
- Dare Ogunbowale (Sit)
I want to start one of these backs so bad against a Lions team that has been gashed on the ground, but the workload is just so spread out. Dare Ogunbowale takes the role as the third-down back and saw five targets in Week 14 against the Colts. Unfortunately for us, this workload isn’t big enough or consistent enough to be a useful fantasy asset. If anything, it makes me pine for those targets to go to either Peyton Barber or Ronald Jones. Speaking of Barber and Jones, would you like the one handling 38% of the snaps or 31% of the snaps. Yes, that’s a rhetorical question, as we can’t rely on either of them. If you’re in a pinch and looking for upside, I could see using Ronald Jones as a flex play.
Wide Receivers and Tight Ends:
- Chris Godwin (Start/WR1)
- O.J. Howard (Sit)
- Cameron Brate (Sit)
- Breshad Perriman (Sit)
- Justin Watson (Sit)
With Mike Evans’ being out for the rest of the regular season, Chris Godwin takes over as the lone WR1 for the Bucs. If last week is any indication, Winston will most likely spread the ball around pretty good, with Godwin taking on the lion’s share of the targets. I can’t believe I’m going to write this, but if you’re desperate at tight end, O.J. Howard has been decent over the last two weeks, seeing 6 and 5 targets, respectively, and hauling in nine balls. Meanwhile, Cameron Brate has seen just five targets over the last two games. So if you’re in a pinch, I prefer Howard over Brate. With Evans out, Breshad Perriman and Justin Watson will take on a larger role. Perriman found the end zone in Week 14, while Watson saw eight targets and also ended up in the end zone. I’m not sure I’m willing to use either in season-long leagues, but both are decent dart throws in DFS.
Detroit Lions
Quarterback:
- David Blough (Sit)
You’ll have to use your best Morgan Freeman voice, but when I sat down to start writing about the Lions, “And that was the moment Rich realized, he had no idea who played for the Lions.” Okay, so for the most part that’s a lie, but this team just keeps getting more and more depleted of players. I even had to do a quick search to make sure David Blough was still the starter. What’s worse, the first article that comes up insists on sitting Blough for Kyle Sloter. If he starts, you’re not starting Blough in a standard league, but he’s pretty intriguing in two-quarterback leagues. I’m in one where I’m considering starting him over Matt Ryan against the 49ers. The Bucs have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks on the season.
Running Backs:
- Bo Scarbrough (Sit)
- J.D. McKissic (Sit)
- Ty Johnson (Sit)
Bo Scarbrough is dealing with a rib injury and he’s currently questionable for this week’s game, but regardless of whether he plays or not, you’re not starting any of these running backs against the Bucs run defense. For the year, the Bucs have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs, so whether it’s Scarbrough, J.D. McKissic, or Ty Johnson getting the start, they can all remain on the bench for fantasy purposes.
Wide Receivers and Tight Ends:
- Kenny Golladay (Start/WR1)
- Danny Amendola (Start/Flex)
- Jesse James (Sit)
- Logan Thomas (Sit)
With Marvin Jones hitting the IR with an ankle injury, we should see a pretty concentrated target share for the Lions. Kenny Golladay has found the end zone in each of Blough’s starts and should command the lion’s share of the targets. The Bucs have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, which makes me daydream of what could’ve been if we had a healthy Matthew Stafford under center. Unfortunately, we’re stuck with Blough, but Golladay should still be started as a back-end WR1/high-end WR2. Through Blough’s two starts, Danny Amendola has the highest target share on the team at 21%. With Jones out, that number should at least stay steady. We know Amendola’s targets come closer to the line of scrimmage, but in PPR leagues, he should get enough work to warrant a flex-start. Jesse James and Logan Thomas have been splitting the tight end targets, but neither gets enough work to consider a start in the fantasy playoffs.

Should I start Hollywood Brown or Terry McLauren
McLauren, he’s got a better floor.
My RB’s in standard scoring are: Chubb, Kamara, Miles Sanders, Mostert, DeAndre Washington and Latavius Murray. Can you give me the top three to start (Assume that Howard and Jacobs are out)?
Based on matchups and production, the thought has crossed my mind to sit Kamara.
I can’t bench Kamara, I’d roll with him and Chubb for sure, but choosing between Sanders, Mostert, and Washington is tough. I might ride the hot hand with Mostert and hope that offense keeps rolling.
Full ppr. Should I start mostert or Singletary?
I have to start 3 D.Cook K.Hunt P.lindsey A.Jones which 3 should I start also J.Jones T.Lockett S.Shepard or Z.Pascal which 2 should I start
which 2 would you pick? Sutton, Kirk, AJ Brown, Fuller (ppr)
I have a high quality problem coming into this week.
Woods vs Dal
Cooper vs Rams
D hop vs ten
Obj vs Ari
Have to sit one of them in a standard league. Thoughts?

Should I start Mostert or AJ Brown in the Flex? HALF PPR

I guess I’m going with my gut. Deebo and slayton.
Kamara or Mostert?
Kirk Slayton or Mack, pick two.
Rn i’ve got Slayton as my WR 3 and need to figure out who to flex.
Watson or Brees week 15? (bonus @ 300, 400 yds) 6 pptd
Touchdown only league – Mahomes vs. Saints or, Tannehill vs. Lions?
Cracks me up when ya’ll ask someone to pick half your lineup. The fun is fantasy is guessing and managing your own team…why turn it all over to someone who’s guessing, just like you. It’s gambling. Would you ask someone to guess your die roll or would you just roll it? Lmao
