Sleeper Spotlight: David Njoku
Cleveland Browns
Quarterback:
- Baker Mayfield (QB2)
I still think Baker can be a future star and he still has plenty of weapons around him to help him get there. This week the Cardinals present a great matchup and despite Baker’s inefficient season, he’s primed for a big game. Keep in mind this is a revenge game for Baker – he was benched by Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury while they were both at Texas Tech. Mayfield can downplay it all he wants but he’s the type of guy who plays with a chip on his shoulder. He’s got a solid 15 point floor this week with the potential for 25-30 so you can feel comfortable rolling him out there if you need to.
Running Backs:
- Nick Chubb (Start/RB1)
- Kareem Hunt (Flex)
Nick Chubb is a beast and the beast should feast on this matchup. Kareem Hunt has been getting enough touches to be relevant but not quite enough to recommend starting. This could be the week he breaks out for the Browns but you can’t count on that in the playoffs. He’s flex at best with some potential.
Wide Receivers/Tight End:
- Odell Beckham Jr. (Start/WR2)
- Jarvis Landry (Start/WR2)
- David Njoku (Sleeper)
Here’s the deal – the Cardinals defense is bad. So bad that any of these guys could have a 30 point week. I love playing the matchup game in the playoffs and I would normally be salivating if I had Beckham or Landry on my roster this week. However, they’ve both been up and down all season so expectations must still be tempered. I’d love to be able to say you can count on 25 for Beckham and 20 for Landry but this year you really can’t count on anything with these guys. Just roll them out there as your WR2 knowing there should be a solid floor of around 15 points with the potential for much more.
David Njoku is my sleeper spotlight in this game since he’s finally back from IR and the Cardinals are the best matchup in the league for opposing tight ends. He put up a stinker last week but it was his first game back so he gets a pass. Don’t forget, there were high expectations this year for Njoku before he got hurt as he’s shown in the past that he has the talent necessary to be a productive tight end in this league. His line in Week 1 could be indicative of what we’ll see this week – 4 catches for 37 yards and a TD on 6 targets. With all of the injuries this week you could do a lot worse than that.
Arizona Cardinals
Quarterback:
- Kyler Murray (Start/QB2)
Murray has a decent matchup this week against a defense that ranks in the middle of the pack both through the air and on the ground. He had arguably his worst game of the year last week against the Steelers, throwing three picks and only completing 66.7% of his passes. However, the Steelers defense has been solid since adding Minkah Fitzpatrick so give Kyler a pass. There are better options out there but if you need to play Kyler this week you should be just fine.
Running Backs:
- David Johnson (Sit)
- Kenyan Drake (Sit/Flex)
- Chase Edmonds (Sit)
This backfield is a mess and you should be staying away from it if you can. Kenyan Drake appears to be the lead dog at the moment, though Chase Edmonds returned from injury last week and received one carry. I’m working on a theory that David Johnson had his talent stolen by the Monstars because that’s the only explanation I have for what’s happened to him this season. If I had a gun to my head and had to start one it would be Drake but I wouldn’t feel good about it.
Wide Receivers/Tight Ends:
- Christian Kirk (Flex)
- Larry Fitzgerald (Sit)
- Andy Isabella (Sit)
Christian Kirk has been the most consistent receiver on the Cardinals this year and should be worthy of a flex play this week. Larry Fitzgerald is still receiving consistent targets, averaging just under 7 per game in his last 4 games, he just isn’t doing anything with them. The potential is still there for a big day but doesn’t count on it in a crucial playoff matchup.

Should I start Hollywood Brown or Terry McLauren
McLauren, he’s got a better floor.
My RB’s in standard scoring are: Chubb, Kamara, Miles Sanders, Mostert, DeAndre Washington and Latavius Murray. Can you give me the top three to start (Assume that Howard and Jacobs are out)?
Based on matchups and production, the thought has crossed my mind to sit Kamara.
I can’t bench Kamara, I’d roll with him and Chubb for sure, but choosing between Sanders, Mostert, and Washington is tough. I might ride the hot hand with Mostert and hope that offense keeps rolling.
Full ppr. Should I start mostert or Singletary?
I have to start 3 D.Cook K.Hunt P.lindsey A.Jones which 3 should I start also J.Jones T.Lockett S.Shepard or Z.Pascal which 2 should I start
which 2 would you pick? Sutton, Kirk, AJ Brown, Fuller (ppr)
I have a high quality problem coming into this week.
Woods vs Dal
Cooper vs Rams
D hop vs ten
Obj vs Ari
Have to sit one of them in a standard league. Thoughts?
Ekler or singletarry flex
Should I flex Tarik Cohen or John Brown? Also have Zach Pascal.
Should I start Mostert or AJ Brown in the Flex? HALF PPR
I need 1 wr. and 1 flex to fill. I have slayton, deebo and dk metcalf. Need help with this please. Thanks.
I guess I’m going with my gut. Deebo and slayton.
Kamara or Mostert?
Kirk Slayton or Mack, pick two.
Rn i’ve got Slayton as my WR 3 and need to figure out who to flex.
Watson or Brees week 15? (bonus @ 300, 400 yds) 6 pptd
Touchdown only league – Mahomes vs. Saints or, Tannehill vs. Lions?
Cracks me up when ya’ll ask someone to pick half your lineup. The fun is fantasy is guessing and managing your own team…why turn it all over to someone who’s guessing, just like you. It’s gambling. Would you ask someone to guess your die roll or would you just roll it? Lmao
