Patrick Mahomes to Marques Valdes-Scantling

We start this bumper Week 10 edition with an absolute dime from Patrick Mahomes down the sideline to wideout Marques Valdes-Scantling. What’s more impressive is when you consider this was on third and long and Mahomes was under intense pressure. What a throw, perfectly placed.

Trevor Lawrence to Christian Kirk

Trevor Lawrence gave Mahomes a run for his money throughout the entertaining contest between the Chiefs and the Jaguars. Lawrence has found a go-to man in Christian Kirk, who makes a lovely over-the-shoulder grab to haul this pinpoint lob from Lawrence in the end zone.

Josh Allen to Gabriel Davis

The Bills playing host to the Vikings turned into the game of the season with Josh Allen and Kirk Cousins outdoing each other on every drive as it played out. Allen flexed his quality just before the half, marching down the field after the Vikings failed to convert on fourth down and throwing this perfect pass to Gabe Davis high and to the front of the end zone, giving the cornerback no chance.

Kirk Cousins to Justin Jefferson

As good as Allen was, Kirk Cousins was better. A wonderful showing from the much-maligned veteran, who was catapulted into the phenomenal bracket by the insanely brilliant Justin Jefferson, who put in undoubtedly one of the greatest wide receiver performances of all time. This sideline throw into double coverage is unsurpassed by any throw this season so far. Fantastic.

Tua Tagovailoa to Trent Sherfield

The quality of placement on this throw from Tua Tagovailoa to Trent Sherfield is extremely top level – the former Alabama quarterback has stepped up into the superstar category this season and throws like this show why.

Justin Herbert to Josh Palmer

Please, Brandon Staley, let Justin Herbert do this more often! The Chargers lost this matchup against the 49ers by being shutout in the second half – the main reason for that was the ultra-conservative play calling from the Chargers. Herbert was excellent in the first half but wasn’t given the chance to flex his muscles in the second. Criminal when he can make plays like this to talented young receiver Joshua Palmer.

Davis Mills to Nico Collins

The Texans are pretty moribund as a team these days but in Davis Mills and Nico Collins, they have two young guns who are showing reasons to be hopeful. This beautifully thrown touch pass floats delightfully into the Collins’ break basket. Top stuff, and something to smile about Texans fans!

Ryan Tannehill to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

The surprise story of the weekend was unheralded Titans wideout Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who went off for only his second-ever 100+ yard game and nabbed two touchdown passes. This beautifully placed throw by Ryan Tannehill to the sideline at the back of the end zone was expertly corralled in by the impressive young wideout. Elite stuff all around.

Colt McCoy to A.J. Green

Back up quarterback Colt McCoy delivers a dime to long-forgotten ace A.J. Green to save the Cardinals’ season. Of course, just like Kliff Kingsbury drew it up.

Aaron Rodgers to Christian Watson

Speaking of veterans at the swan song of their career – Aaron Rodgers rolling back the years with a deep bomb to exciting young wideout Christian Watson. This is the back to the future story we all wanted for the Packers.
