Jared Goff to Jameson Williams

 

On a night when Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff was perfect throwing the football, he also fed his obsession with making Jameson Williams one of the most electric players in the league. The Lions quarterback delivered a dart off his back foot to hit Williams in stride for a 70-yard score. Wow!

 

Geno Smith to DK Metcalf

 

It was almost cruel for Geno Smith to lose against the Lions in one of the most entertaining shootouts you will ever see. Smith sprayed the ball around with aplomb in an accomplished performance – continuing his brilliant start to the year, one of the main reasons the Seahawks offense has moved the sticks has been his chemistry with star wideout DK Metcalf.

 

Sam Darnold to Justin Jefferson

 

Another masterclass from Sam Darnold in the first half against the Packers ignited the Vikings to a 28-0 lead by midway through the second quarter. Darnold connected with the best receiver in football, Justin Jefferson, for this ridiculously special throw and reactive catch. Elite!

 

Brock Purdy to George Kittle

 

What I love about this throw is the absolute trust he has in George Kittle to go up and outjump three defenders to make the grab. That is not only showing Brock Purdy‘s ability to pull off a dangerous, high risk/reward throw, but his skill to actually execute it perfectly. A great throw in many ways.

 

Jayden Daniels to Terry McLaurin

 

Another week goes by and another impressive performance from Jayden Daniels shows the improvements he is making as a signal-caller and passer in the NFL. This beautiful side-sling to Terry McLaurin on second-and-long is a high level throw with zip. We love it!

 

Baker Mayfield to Trey Palmer

 

Baker Mayfield demolished the Eagles defense with an incisive display of pinpoint passing that accentuated the skills of his receivers. No throw was as good as this dime to Trey Palmer for a score – Mayfield poised in the pocket before threading a perfectly-placed ball into the hands of his young receiver. Nice!

 

Josh Allen to Khalil Shakir

 

Yep, total insanity from Josh Allen as he rolled to the right before hurling the ball back downfield and inside for the waiting Khalil Shakir. Amazing to watch live.

 

Patrick Mahomes to Xavier Worthy

 

This might not be the vintage Patrick Mahomes we are used to right now but he is still pulling off some elite throws on a weekly basis that you cannot find anywhere else. What is encouraging going forward is that the return of the deep bomb seems to be on the cards thanks to field-stretcher, Xavier Worthy.
