Tom Brady to Chris Godwin

It wasn’t vintage Tom Brady on his return to play the Patriots but the former New England hero came away with the win and sprinkled a couple of big-time throws in for good measure. This back shoulder floater into the basket of Chris Godwin was a real highlight of the night.

Kyler Murray to Maxx Williams

There was nobody on top of their game more than Kyler Murray in Week 4. The Cardinals quarterback was a menace to a very good Rams defense all day – his nifty footwork, quick release, and remarkable ability to execute in tight windows stood out. The touchdown pass to hit tight-end Maxx Williams between four Rams defensive backs was my throw of the week.

Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp

Matthew Stafford was unlucky to be on the losing side of this terrific battle between two top quarterbacks playing some of the best football of their careers. This brilliant throw on 3rd & 16 to keep the Rams within touching distance of the Cardinals in the first half was a real wow-moments. Cooper Kupp does a great job in triple coverage to haul it in and protect the football.

Justin Herbert to Jared Cook

Another week, another sensational throw from Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Arguably the most impressive signal-caller through four weeks, Herbert progresses through his reads on this play quickly and efficiently to then throw a missile to Jared Cook, splitting three Raiders defensive backs. These are the throws I live for.

Taylor Heinicke to Terry McLaurin

“All heart” Taylor Heinicke balled out in a sensational outing in Atlanta to earn the Washington Football Team their second win of the season. Heinicke threw two touchdowns to elite receiver Terry McLaurin, including this dime from deep to beat the cornerback over the top and keep the ball away from the coverage of the safety. Tasty!

Patrick Mahomes to Tyreek Hill

It was a case of which variation of throw should go into this article from Patrick Mahomes this week. He did it all, even throwing an underarm pass to Clyde-Edwards Helaire for a score. However, this side-arm baseball-style dart to Tyreek Hill to split the coverage for a fourth-quarter touchdown was simply exquisite.

Zach Wilson to Keelan Cole

Will the real Zach Wilson please…come back next week! The coming-out party for the number two overall pick in the 2o21 NFL Draft was a joy to behold. Wilson displayed phenomenal out-of-the-pocket movement and pinpoint accuracy on his deep throws to down the Titans and earn the Jets their first win of the season. Keelan Cole hauled in this bomb to set up the Jets’ go-ahead touchdown.

Daniel Jones to Saquon Barkley

What a comeback from the New York Giants and Daniel Jones, who executed his deep balls perfectly against a strong Saints secondary to earn a momentous win. This key throw over the head of Marshon Lattimore to hit Saquon Barkley on the sideline set up the Giants to ride with the momentum and force overtime.
