Joe Burrow to Tyler Boyd

By far the best game Joe Burrow has played in 2022, the Bengals superstar threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in the first half alone. This opening score was thanks to a beautifully timed throw off a play fake early in the game. The ball hits Tyler Boyd perfectly in stride.

Patrick Mahomes to Marques Valdes-Scantling

The Chiefs lit up the 49ers’ defense in a mauling of San Francisco in front of their own fans in Santa Clara. Patrick Mahomes was decisive and unrelenting in the exquisite performance – this deep ball to Marques Valdes-Scantling was his throw of the day, although there were many to choose from.

Geno Smith to Marquise Goodwin

The Geno Smith magic continues, I’m not even sure what else there is to say at this point…

Bailey Zappe to DeVante Parker

With the Patriots offense stagnant under Mac Jones, in steps Bailey Zappe to orchestrate two touchdown drives to put his team ahead. The second was set up by this dime downfield to DeVante Parker for a huge 43-yard gain.

Davis Mills to Phillip Dorsett

This might be the best throw in Davis Mills‘ career so far. It came at an important time for his team as they faced third and long trailing by four late in the third quarter. It wasn’t enough to win the game but it was still impressive. Mills is composed in the pocket, buys time for his receiver to get open, and fires a dart that only Phillip Dorsett can haul in. A thing of beauty.

Justin Fields to Khalil Herbert

Sometimes it is more about how the quarterback positions himself to make a throw rather than the actual throw itself, and that is exactly what young phenom Justin Fields does here with this nifty sidearm shot to Khalil Herbert, who takes it to the house. Fantastic stuff.

Derek Carr to Mack Hollins

A precision pass from Raiders quarterback Derek Carr hit Mack Hollins up high for the touchdown. Carr was zipping the ball all day and this throw was executed to perfection.
