Joe Burrow to Jamar Chase

The most electrifying duo in the league right now hails out of Cincinnati – the elite connections between Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase is taking the league by storm this season. The former college teammates at LSU have picked up from where they left off for the Bengals, terrorizing secondaries all across the field. This key play at the end of the third quarter that set up a red zone opportunity was a lovely example of Burrow’s ability to hit deep passes off the deep drop. Chase got a little lucky with the fumble at the end of the play.

Mac Jones to Kendrick Bourne

A restricted playbook has meant we haven’t seen too much flash from new Patriots quarterback Mac Jones. However, up big against the hapless Jets at home on Sunday, Bill Belichick went into complete punishment mode and allowed the young signal-caller to air it out. This perfect deep ball on third down to Kendrick Bourne down the sideline really showed off his arm strength and accuracy. More please!

Zach Wilson to Ryan Griffen

The injury to Zach Wilson means we will be without the second overall pick from the 2021 NFL Draft for at least a few weeks as the Jets completed a trade for Joe Flacco. Oh, my! Let’s at least highlight this beautiful throw off the back foot on third down into a tight window to hit Ryan Griffen to move the sticks. Hurry back soon, Zach!

Ryan Tannehill to A.J. Brown

It was hard to decide between the two throws on this drive that resulted in the Titans extending their lead over the Chiefs to 14-0. Ryan Tannehill had connected with A.J. Brown‘s outstretched hands on a beautiful deep ball down the sideline before going back to the superstar receiver for this back-foot fade into the corner of the end zone for the score. It was a banner day for Tannehill and this is just one of many elite throws in Week 7. Go check out the full game replay for a joy of a performance.

Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams

Yup, these two again. And who can blame me? Aaron Rodgers pulled out this miraculous cross-body dart to his old friend Davante Adams on fourth down to extend the drive and setup the Packers for a score en-route to a convincing win over the moribund Washington Football Team. Watch, admire, repeat!

Matt Ryan to Kyle Pitts

What an unbelievable throw with the game on the line from veteran Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. My favorite streamer at the position for Week 7 did not let me down and featured rookie phenom Kyle Pitts to the tune of seven catches for 163 yards. This pinpoint deep ball dropped into Pitts’ bread basket was sensational to watch live and relive on replay.

Carson Wentz to Michael Pittman Jr.

For the second week in a row, the connection between Carson Wentz and Michael Pittman Jr. was key to the win for the Colts to keep them competitive in the AFC South. This 57-yard deep ball set up the first touchdown of the game for Indianapolis, who came back to dominate the 49ers and full deserve the victory. 2017 potential MVP Wentz is making a return.

Derek Carr to Zay Jones

Derek Carr completed an astonishing 31-of-34 pass attempts in the Raiders’ 33-22 humiliation of the Eagles. His best in my opinion was this 43-yard dart to Zay Jones. Roll on, Derek!
