Jalen Hurts to AJ Brown

Everything about this throw screams brilliance. The way Jalen Hurts sets his feet, surveys the field and delivers a perfect deep ball into the basket of AJ Brown is textbook elite. The Philadelphia quarterback has been exquisite so far this season and with his weapons through the air adding to his prowess on the ground, it could be a phenomenal year for the third year quarterback.

Tua Tagovailoa to Jaylen Waddle

Oh, it is so nice to have Tua Tagovailoa back under centre for the Dolphins. His ability to feed his two top class receivers, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, offers up excitement every week. This beautifully flighted ball over the top of the secondary for Waddle to haul in by his fingertips was a thing of beauty.

Kirk Cousins to KJ Osborn

Just quietly, Kirk Cousins is having a career year in Minnesota. The Vikings quarterback has always been good but not great under centre but he has added another string to his arsenal this year – an ability to finish off drives in the red zone. Cousins has linked up with all three of his main receivers for multiple scores so far this season. Here, KJ Osborn hauls in a perfectly placed throw to the sideline for the score on third down.

PJ Walker to DJ Moore

What a throw this is with the game on the line! Patrick Mahomes called it the “best throw of the season, and it is not even close” and who are we to disagree?! PJ Walker has been a breath of fresh air in Carolina and this deep ball into the arms of DJ Moore to tie the game with seconds remaining was sensational. Inch perfect stuff from the Panthers QB!

Zach Wilson to Tyler Conklin

There was a mix of great, bad and ugly from Zach Wilson, who struggled for consistency under pressure from the Patriots blitz-heavy defense. We very rarely just see a game of good from Wilson and that maybe is the issue for a good Jets team right now. Wilson started off well and put his team in the ascendency thanks to a creative drive finished off by this bullet to Tyler Conklin for six. Nice.

Josh Allen to Stefon Diggs

Automatic. Is there anything else to say? Josh Allen drops back, buys some time and then plants his feet to whip a short-arm throw perfectly into the arms of Stefon Diggs. As good as it gets.

Aaron Rodgers to Romeo Doubs

Ironically, this was Aaron Rodgers best game of the season against a very good Buffalo defense. It wasn’t enough to get his team the win, however he made a number of brilliant throws that his receivers could work with and move the chains. This excellent back shoulder throw into the corner of the end zone is brilliantly hailed in by rookie Romeo Doubs.
