The Best QB Throws: Week 8

Your weekly dose of phenomenal throws from across the NFL

Every week we will bring you a selection of the best throws from quarterbacks across the NFL. Did you see an amazing throw worthy of inclusion? If so, you can tweet @TheQBList on Twitter to let us know and we’ll give you a shout-out here in the article if your tip makes the cut.

Will Levis to DeAndre Hopkins

A phenomenal start to his NFL career for Will Levis, who threw four touchdown passes in the Titans win over the Falcons and his ability in the pocket was immediately impressive. Having a veteran like DeAndre Hopkins to throw to is a dream come true.

Tua Tagovailoa to Tyreek Hill

No, we didn’t just copy and paste from last week. This is a regular occurrence and it is always beautiful, this time Tua Tagovailoa nails a deep ball into the bread basket of his favorite receiver, Tyreek Hill. Automatic!

Sam Howell to Terry McLaurin

Another week where Sam Howell showed all the traits of an NFL starting quarterback with juice. The second-year quarterback keeps evolving and he was brilliant going head-to-head with Jalen Hurts in an exciting shootout performance. This connection with Terry McLaurin showed his improvements especially when it comes to ball placement.

Dak Prescott to Jake Ferguson

We haven’t featured Dak Prescott too much in this article this season as his quarterback play has been middle of the road to say the least but this performance was a significant uptick. This perfectly weighed throw to tight end Jake Ferguson was pinpoint perfect for his tight end in heavy coverage.

Bryce Young to Tommy Tremble

There are serious improvements out of the bye week for Bryce Young in this offense in Carolina and we are excited. More purposeful throws all down the field highlighted a promising performance from the number one overall pick in a win over C.J. Stroud and the Texans. This beautiful fade to Tommy Tremble was his throw of the day.

Derek Carr to Rashid Shaheed

The deep throw is the only throw we want to see from Derek Carr in New Orleans as he once again connected with speedster Rashid Shaheed for a big splash touchdown in one of the most impressive performances since he joined from the Raiders.

Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown

This is a A.J. Brown bit, lets be honest. But lets give quarterback Jalen Hurts the credit for putting the ball in a position to make this play.

Kirk Cousins to Jordan Addison

An ode to the newly injured Kirk Cousins as he makes his final appearance of the season after unfortunately tearing his achilles in the Vikings’ dominant win over their rivals the Packers. Cousins was near perfect in the victory and connected with rookie Jordan Addison once again for a game-deciding score. Kirk, we’ll miss you.
