Every week we will bring you a selection of the best throws from quarterbacks across the NFL. Did you see an amazing throw worthy of inclusion? If so, you can tweet @TheQBList on Twitter to let us know and we’ll give you a shout-out here in the article if your tip makes the cut.
Mike White to Elijah Moore

We were robbed of another all-out attack performance from Mike White on Thursday Night Football after the Jets’ diamond in the rough was knocked out of the game with a wrist injury caused by the savage DeForest Buckner. Still, he gave us one excellent touchdown drive to enjoy on repeat. This beautifully placed ball to Elijah Moore setup the Jets’ first score of the night. White again showing progression through his reads and top tier execution.
Carson Wentz to Michael Pittman Jr.

Carson Wentz wasn’t asked to do too much against the Jets as Jonathan Taylor and the Colts’ run game annihilated the sorry Jets defense. Still, when required he made plays – this pinpoint pass to Michael Pittman Jr. effectively ending the game as a contest just before the half.
Matt Ryan to Cordarelle Patterson

This match-winning throw from veteran Matt Ryan to the born-again utility weapon Cordarelle Patterson was my favorite throw of the week. Blowing a significant lead in the second half, Ryan shrugged off an ineffective offensive performance after the break to unleash this sensational throw to Patterson down the sideline to setup the game-winning field goal. Elite.
Trevor Siemian to Tre’Quan Smith

The catalyst for the Saints’ comeback at the end of the game was journeyman quarterback Trevor Seimian, who threw two fourth quarter touchdowns to put the Saints in a winning-position, only for Ryan to outmatch him on the final drive of the game. Siemian showed composure and skill to get the most out of an unheralded, young receiving corps. This beautiful throw to out of the pocket to Tre’Quan Smith on the move was his best throw of the night.
Josh Johnson to Denzel Mims

Two Jets quarterbacks featuring in this article in one week – not something I would have expected at the start of the season, but that is exactly what Week 9 was all about. Josh Johnson came in and performed admirably despite the Jets defense giving himself no help whatsoever. Johnson moved the sticks regularly and threw three touchdowns to three different receivers. This perfect throw from a deep drop to hit Denzel Mims on the sideline was a highlight.
Justin Fields to Darnell Mooney

A star is rising for the Bears – Justin Fields is taking huge strides right now as he navigates through what has been a baptism of fire in Chicago for a number of reasons. One key change has been the removal of Matt Nagy from play calling duties. Fields is now thriving and his performances against the 49ers and now the Steelers have shown his qualities. This remarkable throw, after escaping from pressure in the pocket, to find Darnell Mooney for the touchdown was simply breathtaking.
Baker Mayfield to Donovan Peoples-Jones

It was a statement performance from Baker Mayfield, who shrugged off the usual criticism and the Odell Beckham Jr. drama to lift the Browns over the Bengals with an efficiently ruthless performance. Baker broke the game open with this perfect deep ball to Donovan Peoples-Jones for a 60-yard score to put the Browns up 21-7.
Justin Herbert to Mike Williams

Justin Herbert, show us your arm strength! Wow, ok! This sensational deep ball to Mike Williams to give the Chargers the momentum to go forward for the win against the Eagles brought out a sigh of appreciation from me. Herbert goes back across the field from just inside the numbers to throw a missile to Williams, who does brilliantly to fight off good coverage to haul in the pass. This kid is special.
