Lamar Jackson to Isaiah Likely

It wasn’t a passing clinic from Lamar Jackson, but when he needed to pull out a crucial pass he did – on the run rolling to his right, this beautifully flighted ball for rookie Isaiah Likely was executed perfectly.

Kirk Cousins to Justin Jefferson

This is one of the throws of the season under pressure from Kirk Cousins, who stays in the pockets despite intense pressure up the middle to unleas a pin-point pass to Justin Jefferson in stride down the sideline. Phenomenal stuff from the Vikings quarterback.

Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce

Making the headlines for his work on the ground more than through the air for once, Patrick Mahomes was incredible in pulling the Chiefs back into the contest against a fierce Titans defensive front. This phenomenal throw on the run whilst falling to his right found Travis Kelce to move the chains and setup a game-winning field goal.

Davis Mills to Chris Moore

What a throw this is from the hot-and-cold Texans quarterback Davis Mills! It was as good as it gets from a quarterback on the move – the way Mills positions himself to move and survey the field is impressive, allowing him to step into the throw and execute with fantastic accuracy. Chris Moore does well to haul in the pass but this was all about Mills making something happen for his team.

Zach Wilson to Garrett Wilson

We’re aware of Zach Wilson‘s growing pains in the NFL but in the Jets’ upset win over the Bills he made a couple of elite throws that turned drives into points and effectively sealed the win for the upstart Jets. Garrett Wilson runs an excellent route on this slant and Wilson nails the throw under pressure, placing the ball perfectly for Wilson to catch and run.

Geno Smith to DK Metcalf

Another week, another beautiful throw from Geno Smith. Facing third and goal at a crucial stage in the contest in the first half, Smith executes a pinpoint pass to DK Metcalf at the back of the end zone. This throw is the result of studying the playbook, trusting his receiver, and making sure he stays in the pocket long enough for the play to develop. Great quarterback play!

Tua Tagovailoa to Tyreek Hill

Wow! My throw of the day when you consider the down and distance with the situation of the game finely poised prior to half time. The Dolphins could have looked to move the sticks and work the ball into field goal position but Mike McDaniel rolls out the perfect play call and Tua Tagovailoa is composed and patient in the pocket before flexing his arm to find Tyreek Hill‘s bread basket down the sideline. Brilliant, brilliant throw.
