It’s time for Week 2 and overreactions! The Packers are toast, the Texans are a feisty team, and you should probably release Brandon Aiyuk and Aaron Jones. I’m kidding, please don’t release Aiyuk and Jones.
We should chase the Week 1 news when it comes to the running back position, as much of their value is tied up in volume after all. Elijah Mitchell, D’Andre Swift, and Joe Mixon are among the risers, so check out my running back rankings for the hot takes.
At wide receiver, however, we need to show patience. Maybe this week, Justin Jefferson catches two touchdowns while Adam Thielen goes scoreless, or Mike Evans has one of his patented nuclear explosions on a poor Falcons defense. Don’t overreact to the crazy opening week performances at receiver.
We do want to chase volume, however, and it’s hard to find many players in better spots than Keenan Allen in Week 2. He makes the list after a 13 target, 100 yard game against a tough Washington defense, and now he faces a Cowboys defense that appears to be pretty much the same unit we saw last year, a great trend for their fantasy opponents. Check out the receiver rankings to see where Allen ranks, and just look at that featured graphic, we have the best graphics.
