Week 10 of the NFL season has just about wrapped up. Whether winning or losing in Week 10, it’s time to make some moves to help your team reach the ultimate goal. In this article, we will talk about the key players worth picking up to help improve your roster. We will discuss what they have done and why they are important players to pick up on rosters. We will also talk about whether they are worth spending that number one waiver claim and how much FAAB percentage you should use on them.
The Week 11 waiver wire is starting to have some names that you will want to pick up to help your fantasy roster. There is a nice mix of players who all produced in Week 10 and should have value moving forward.
Audric Estime, RB – DEB
Our top waiver wire pickup for Week 11 is Denver Broncos running back Audric Estime. Earlier in Week 10, we heard head coach Sean Payton telling the media that he planned on getting Estime more involved. He wasn’t lying, as Estime dominated the rushing carries with 14 in Week 10. Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin combined for 3 carries in a game that the Broncos led for the majority of the game. Estime is one of those ground-and-pound running backs that can easily break tackles. He is a must-add if you are a needy running back team that needs warm bodies. In this game, he only averaged 3.8 YPC, but opportunities talk in fantasy. If Estime can continue to see ten-plus carries, then he could be a solid pickup for those teams who need a running back.

Ricky Pearsall, WR – SF
Our favorite pick-up for Week 11 is rookie receiver Ricky Pearsall. The rookie performed at a high level in this Week 10 game. He finished with four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. The biggest thing was that he was second on the team in targets with seven. Pearsall is that outside receiver that quarterback Brock Purdy loves to throw to, and he is filling in that Brandon Aiyuk role. While that hasn’t been good this year, we’ve seen that role succeed in the past. Pearsall will continue to grow in his offense and have opportunities for the rest of the season. He has a great matchup next week against the Seahawks, who have had some shaky secondary play this season. This could be a high-scoring game, so you should be rostering Pearsall in another week of BYEs.

Drake Maye, QB – NE
Our waiver-wire quarterback to pick up for Week 11 is rookie Drake Maye. The Patriots quarterback has been average since putting up 19 and 20 fantasy points in weeks 6 and 7. Maye should be able to bounce back in Week 11 as he faces the Los Angeles Rams. Maye is averaging 44 rushing yards per game, which is the fantasy production we want to see. The Rams defense has been average at best against fantasy quarterbacks but has allowed the fifth most passing touchdowns. Maye is dealing with some rookie woes as he has struggled on the road the last two weeks. Maye has averaged 7 more fantasy points per game in home games this year. Maye is a good pick-up in Week 11.

Demario Douglas, WR – LAR
Our next receiver to pick up again is Demario Douglas. Douglas played better when Drake Maye was on the field. Douglas had nine or more fantasy points in 3 of 4 games that Maye played. He was dealing with the flu in the one game and underperformed in London. Douglas continues to be the WR1 for this Patriots team, as he had the most targets with 29 since Maye took over. He only trails Hunter Henry in targets during that stretch. The Rams have been a bottom-ten unit against fantasy receivers this year, so expect Douglas to be involved in the passing game. He isn’t a solid weekly starter but can provide FLEX numbers during the upcoming BYE weeks.

Will Dissly, TE – LAC
It was tough to find a tight end to pick up for Week 11, but Will Dissly is your guy if you need one. Dissly has eight or more fantasy points in three of his last four games. The Chargers passing game has picked up over the previous month, and Dissly has benefited from it for fantasy. He’ll get a matchup against the Bengals on primetime in Week 11. The Bengals are a bottom-five defense against fantasy tight ends this season and have allowed the six most touchdowns to the position. I’d expect this game to be a shoot-out, and Dissly will see his opportunities to produce for us in fantasy. He could be a solid BYE week replacement for Week 11.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR – NO
This one is a complete dart throw if you are a desperate team right now. The Saints have been destroyed by injuries at receiver this season. The Saints top 5 receivers to start the season either are hurt or were cut to this point. This allowed Valdes-Scantling to see a role in this offense. He fits the Saint’s offense well as the deep threat in the offense has thrived this season under Derek Carr. We saw Rashid Shaheed dominate early on with a healthy Carr, and now Valdes Scantling can fill that role. We saw in Week 10 that he had two catches with 30-plus receptions. He likely won’t go 100 yards and two touchdowns weekly, but he has FLEX upside for teams willing to take a risky shot for their lineups.
