NOTE: Players mentioned will be owned in 40% or less of ESPN leagues. MUST ADD will be a recommended add in all leagues. MAYBE ADD is for those in 12 team leagues or deeper. DEEP ADD is for those in 14+ team leagues.
QUARTERBACKS
Jimmy Garoppolo (San Francisco 49ers) – 6.6% OWNED – MAYBE ADD
Garoppolo was forced into action very late in Sundays game against the Seahawks, and proceeded to complete both his passes for 18 yards and a TD while scrambling for a 4 yard gain during his 3 snaps. It may not be enough to earn him the starting job this week if CJ Beathard is healthy, but he certainly looks like he can breathe some life into a lifeless offense right now.
RUNNING BACKS
Jacquizz Rodgers (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – 6% OWNED – MAYBE ADD
If Doug Martin misses this weeks game with the Packers, Rodgers gets the slight edge over Peyton Barber as far as workload purposes go. It’s a solid match up for him as well, and with how poor Martin was playing before his concussion, it’s fair to wonder if Rodgers could steal some snaps going forward.
J.D. McKissic (Seattle Seahawks) – 15.8% OWNED – DEEP ADD
While Eddie Lacy received the bulk of the carries on Sunday, he still isn’t a trustworthy option on a week to week basis here on out. McKissic on the other hand has established some flex PPR value, giving owners at least 8.4 points the past 3 weeks. His role and floor should be locked in the rest of the season.
WIDE RECEIVER
Josh Gordon (Cleveland Browns) – 35% OWNED – MUST ADD
If the Josh Gordon hype wasn’t already high, Hue Jackson didn’t exactly help to calm the hype on Monday by saying the Browns plan to play him as much as possible in Week 13. We still need to temper expectations here, as Gordon hasn’t played a down of football in 3 years, but we all know the immense talent he is. Given that crazy upside, he needs to be owned in all leagues.
Marquise Goodwin (San Francisco 49ers) – 11.8% OWNED– MAYBE ADD
Goodwin continues to make big plays for the 49ers and could be in for more steady production if/when Jimmy Garoppolo is given the keys to the offense. He’s the only receiving option on the roster that has any type of playmaking ability.
Zay Jones (Buffalo Bills) – 10.5% OWNED– MAYBE ADD
Jones should continue as the Bills top receiver option should Kelvin Benjamin’s torn meniscus keep him out again next week which would put him on the WR3 map going up against the Patriots. He wasn’t efficient this past week, catching only 3 of his 10 targets, but was targeted a few times near the end zone, catching one for a TD,
TIGHT END
Ricky Seals-Jones (Arizona Cardinals) – 1.5% – DEEP ADD
It’s really tough to trust any Cardinals tight end in fantasy, especially with Blaine Gabbert under center, but he’s been a big part of the passing game the past two weeks, especially in the red zone. He was a highly sought after high school recruit, drawing comparisons to Mike Evans before disappointing in his 3 years at Texas A&M. He very well could turn into a better pro than college player, and is at least worth an add in most dynasty leagues as an upside tight end stash.
