Waiver Wire: Week 15 Priority Adds Under 50% Owned

Matt Dean is here to let you know who the priority adds are heading into Week 15 waivers.

Happy Tuesday Fantasy Footballers and welcome to Week 15. I am Matt Dean (@MattDeanQBList) and I am here to help you recover from Week 14 with your priority adds from the waiver wire this week.

Congratulations! You are still in the playoffs…or….really like reading waiver articles! Wherever you find yourself, I am glad you are here. A lot happened this week with injuries…we had hurt hands from Patrick Mahomes and Jameis Winston and season enders from the likes of Derrius Guice and Mike Evans (probably). Luckily Mahomes should be good, but Winston is iffier and should still play. There is hope, however, as there are plenty of guys below that can help you win and get to the championship game.

Wherever you find yourself in your playoff field, let’s hop right into the priority adds for Week 15.

The ownership percentage is based on Yahoo Fantasy Leagues.

Priority Adds

QB – Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans (49% Owned)

Talk about a career resurgence! Ryan Tannehill has ripped off two 33+ point games in the last three weeks and now gets Houston in a division matchup that should be EPIC! Lots of points should be scored and Tannehill is arguably a top 7 option at the position this week. Houston is a snooze when it comes to defending the pass, and Tannehill adds a nice floor with rushing here and there. Someone that can definitely help in place of Winston if he ends up sitting, Tannehill should be seriously considered by anyone who doesn’t have one of the studs at QB this week.

RB – Adrian Peterson, Washington Redskins (40% Owned)

Ah…all is right again with the world. All Day is back to handling all the workload down the stretch as Guice went down with a season-ending MCL sprain. Tough break for him, but great for you if you need Flex help. This week may be underwhelming, but Adrian Peterson is a near-lock for 20 touches and a possible score. He is worth starting as a flex if need be, and has RB2 upside in championship week against the New York Giants. Coming off a 20/76/1 clip against Green Bay and averaging over 4 YPC on the season, the one time top selection in fantasy drafts could have a curtain call this season.

RB – DeAndre Washington, Oakland Raiders (8% Owned)

With Josh Jacobs out in Week 14, DeAndre Washington was the workhorse, showing prowess as a runner and pass-catcher. This week, we don’t know if Jacobs will return yet, but you want to be ahead of that news. Off the back of 20 touches, 96 total yards and a touchdown, a 21.6 PPR scoring day, Washington could be gifted a cake matchup with the Jaguars run defense if Jacobs were to be shut down with his fractured shoulder. Grab him as arguably the most coveted pick up this week with the championship on the line.

WR – Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts (33% Owned)

Coming off a huge 5/74/1 against Tampa Bay, Zach Pascal heads into the week as the Colts top wideout with TY Hilton expected to be sidelined continually. With at least 17 PPR points in his last two games, Pascal is a safe floor Flex play with WR2 upside this week against New Orleans in the dome. In what should be a game of passing, Pascal should approach his average of 10 targets over his last two. Seriously, it is weird this time of year, but yes Zach Pascal is someone you should be starting in Fantasy Football in 2019…in the playoffs.
