Week 11 offers up some great streaming matchups so I wanted to cover a couple of low percentage teams that could be strong pivot plays off of the chalk. I also wanted to feature a team I absolutely believe you should be rostering for your playoff run. It will not cover teams from previous weeks so if you were able to grab one from the previous selections and they still have a favorable matchup, go ahead and start them, no need to waste FAAB or waiver priority. If you have a defense like the Bucs, you should be starting them every week. Some defenses to not make the list this week but still have favorable matchups are the Titans, Ravens, Vikings, and Browns. Good luck this week!
Los Angeles Chargers
Opponent: vs Pittsburgh Steelers
DraftKings: $3200
FanDuel: $4200
I would say this a great matchup because of the possibility of Mason Rudolph starting but really, does it matter anymore? Ben has led this team to only ~20 points a game, throwing only 10 TDs on the season. Among QBs with a 20% minimum dropback rate per PFF, he ranks 34th out of 36 qualifying QBs in aDOT and yet has the 8th highest turnover worthy play percentage. Living in the bottom third of the league in fantasy scoring, the Chargers have had a brutal schedule and the Steelers are the respite they need. Rostered in under 5% of leagues, this is a great streaming play. If you are looking for a discount in DFS, they are 9th and 12th in pricing respectively.

Miami Dolphins
Opponent: @ New York Jets
DraftKings: $3600
FanDuel: $4800
Early indications are that Zach Wilson will be under center for the New York Jets this weekend against the Dolphins. That is great news for Jets fans, Dolphins fans, the ~45% of fantasy players that already roster the Dolphins DST, and streamers this week. Over the last two weeks, the Dolphins have been the number one DST scoring 35 points, 17 against Houston and 18 against Baltimore. The secondary is filled with playmakers like Xavien Howard and Byron Jones, but the line has gotten some boom/bust production from players like Jaelen Phillips and Emmanuel Ogbah. Coming off a long rest to face the Jets, and especially after their showing against the Ravens, the Dolphins will be the most sought-after DST this week so plan accordingly.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Opponent: vs San Francisco 49ers
DraftKings: $2300
FanDuel: $3400
Can’t believe I’m asking this but, is the Jags defense for real? Is this unit actually the strength of this team? If it is, they should have another good week. Put plainly, Jimmy Garoppolo is not good. That has been ever more evident this year. The 49ers starting QB ranks 36th in BTT% (Big Time Throw) and is 3rd in TWP%. Just like Big Ben, which is not a great start to any comparison nowadays, he has only 10 TDs in 8 games, but despite Jimmy’s sub 8 aDOT, is 3rd in YPA. Basically, as long as the secondary can limit the YAC gains from Deebo and Aiyuk, the 49ers are in trouble. Shaquill Griffin has been a bright spot for this team and since week 4, has been putting up some solid lines against tough wideouts. If he can step up and have a big day, there’s a chance that the Jaguars pull off another upset at home.
The Jags will have a low roster percentage as they do now, under 1%, so this would be a FAAB saver if your league allows $0 bids, or saves your waiver position if you just add them after everything processes. They are also a budget reliever for DFS as one of the least expensive options on the board and will be a pivot off chalk plays for GPP.

Philadelphia Eagles
Opponent: vs New Orleans Saints
DraftKings: $2900
FanDuel: $3900
This defense is set up so well if you can hold them through their bye. They are a volatile defense but have played pretty true to their schedule. Against lower-tier offenses, they have scored nine or more points four times, they also have four weeks of either zero or worse against higher tier offenses. Their schedule is cake from here through the fantasy Super Bowl which is why I wanted to highlight them. They get the Saints, the Giants twice, WFT twice, and the Jets. To break that down further, after the Saints you have the 20th most generous offense to DSTs twice, the 22nd twice, and the 32nd in the Jets. Sign me up for that schedule. Pick them up now if you can roster another DST for their week 14 bye.
