Weekly Rankings: Week 11 IDP Rankings and Notes From Week 10

Nate Watt breaks down the most important notes from Week 10's games, as well as unveiling his Top 50 at each defensive position.

Week 10 Notes

  • Sharing is caring, and a trio of defenders shared the title of tackle king in Week 10. Drue Tranquill, Tahir Whitehead, and Cory Littleton each notched 14 tackles, with Leighton Vander Esch, Jaylon Smith, Logan Ryan, and Darius Leonard posting 13 apiece.
  • Though he’s bounced on and off the fantasy radar this season, the Raiders’ Erik Harris erupted for 2 picks and a touchdown, adding 2 tackles and 3 passes defended. He’s not a consistent enough option to rely on weekly, but he’s worth a watchlist spot.
  • Jamal Adams was the runaway best IDP of the week with a colossal day, having 9 tackles, 2.0 sacks, a pass defended, 2 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovered for a TD. He may have started the season a bit slower than anticipated, but Jamal is on fire right now.
  • Darius Leonard had a vintage outing on Sunday, adding a sack, a forced fumble, an interception, and 2 TFL to his 13 tackles on the day to finish as the top linebacker.
  • Danny Trevathan suffered what is believed to be a fairly serious arm injury, and will almost certainly miss at least a few games, if not the rest of the season. Replacing him was early season standout Nick Kwiatkoski, who once again performed spectacularly in his relief role.
  • Speaking of safeties on fire, Minkah Fitzpatrick has made a habit of devastating opposing teams over his last three games, averaging well over 20 fantasy points in FantasyPros scoring while picking off 4 passes, defending 5 passes and scoring 2 TD’s, on a pick-six and another on a fumble recovery.
  • The Packers, Giants, Seahawks, and Titans are on bye this week.
