Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Chargers
Final Score: Chargers 22, Eagles 19 OT
Writer: Kyle McCarthy (@KyleStats1738 on X)
This was a messy game from beginning to end, featuring a whopping eight combined turnovers and the first-ever player with two turnovers on one play. Jalen Hurts made some history tonight. The Chargers pulled it out in the end as Hurts threw his career-high fourth interception late in overtime with the Eagles in the red zone. It was the first game this season with five turnovers in the first half, and the eight total turnovers are the most in a game this season. Philly drops their third game in a row, and while their playoff hopes remain high at 93% with the current state of the NFC East, the door is still cracked open for Dallas. The Chargers climb to a 76% chance and now head on the road to face a desperate Kansas City team in Week 15.
FINAL (OT) – Chargers 22, Eagles 19 📉
Neither team had greater than an 80% chance to win the game at any point until Tony Jefferson's game-winning interception.
The @Chargers' postseason odds are now at 76%. They would have dropped to 53% with a loss.

Two Up
- A.J. Brown – Posted this fourth straight game with double-digit targets, third straight with 100+ yards. Had only one double-digit game and two 100+ yard performances over the first nine games.
- Omarion Hampton – Caught a touchdown on the opening drive in the first game back. Still split with Vidal, but looked healthy, and his role should continue to expand in future weeks.
Two Down
- Jalen Hurts – Career high five turnovers. Missed plenty of throws and reads. The Eagles’ offense is still stuck in the mud.
- Ladd McConkey – Blanketed by Eagles’ secondary. Matched career low with just one reception on five targets.
Philadelphia Eagles
Quarterback
Jalen Hurts: 21/40, 240 Yards, 0 TD, 4 INT, 1 FUM Lost | 4 Carries, 8 Yards
After committing just three turnovers in his first 11 games, Hurts has now blundered seven times in the past two games. While he has always taken a decent number of sacks, limiting negative plays has played a crucial role in the Eagles’ success last season. And his value as a runner has dried up this season, averaging 27.4 yards per game, the fewest since his rookie season, and 15 YPG less than last year. As mentioned before, Hurts committed two turnovers on one play in one of the most comical sequences of the season. One of the interceptions came off a drop by A.J. Brown, but all of the other ones were legitimately Hurts’ fault, with the final one in overtime being the most costly.

Running Back
Saquon Barkley: 20 Carries, 122 Yards, 1 TD | 2 Targets, 0 Receptions
Barkley ripped off a 52-yard touchdown to open the fourth quarter for the Eagles’ only touchdown of the night. It’s just his third run of 20+ yards this season after it was a weekly occurrence for the star back last week, with 17 total. It felt like Barkley ran well and looked as good as he has all season in this game. He had six carries for 40 yards in the first quarter and then ripped off the haymaker later in the game to deliver a much-needed big game for fantasy managers headed into the fantasy playoffs, where he has a beautiful schedule.

Tank Bigsby: 1 Carry, 4 Yards
Primary handcuff to Barkley.
Will Shipley: 1 Target, 1 Reception, 3 Yards
Wide Receiver/Tight End
A.J. Brown: 13 Targets, 6 Receptions, 100 Yards
AJBeast continues his dominant stretch of games. There were multiple close calls on deep balls in this game that could have resulted in a monster day for Brown, including a potential game-winner in overtime on a beautiful ball from Hurts, but Brown couldn’t quite come down with it. He did have a bad drop that led to one of Hurts’ four interceptions, so it still wasn’t the cleanest day for the superstar wideout, and he’ll want a few of those plays back. Still, he is looking great heading into the fantasy playoffs.

DeVonta Smith: 8 Targets, 4 Receptions, 37 Yards
Smith was less involved with Brown and Goedert dominating the targets. He’s now been held under 50 yards in three of the past four games as Brown has been emphasized more lately. Smith did have a pivotal catch and run for a 28-yard gain on a third and 16 in overtime to keep the drive alive. He’ll have some productive games, but can still be hit or miss at times with the state of the Eagles’ pass game.

Dallas Goedert: 10 Targets, 8 Receptions, 78 Yards
Goedert feasted on underneath routes in this game, which has become something that Hurts has leaned on this season. It’s his third game with at least seven receptions and his most receiving yards in a game since Week 6 against the Giants.
Jahan Dotson: 3 Targets, 1 Reception, 3 Yards
Darius Cooper: 1 Target, 1 Reception, 19 Yards
Los Angeles Chargers
Quarterback
Justin Herbert: 12/26, 139 Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 FUM Lost | 10 Carries, 66 Yards
Herbert was under siege tonight. The current Chargers offensive line is dreadful, and the Eagles’ defensive front is very good. It resulted in Herbert being pressured on a ridiculous 68.3% of dropbacks, the sixth highest in a game with at least 20 dropbacks over the last 10 seasons, per Next Gen Stats. He took a career-high seven sacks and was forced to scramble more than usual, so he ended up leading the team in rushing yards. It was a tough night through the air, predictably, with every Chargers pocket crumbling in an instant. It was just the third game of Herbert’s career with a completion percentage below 50%.

Running Back
Omarion Hampton: 13 Carries, 56 Yards | 2 Targets, 2 Receptions, 11 Yards, 1 TD
Hampton ran well in his first game since suffering a fractured ankle in Week 5. He caught a TD on the opening drive and ran more efficiently than Vidal on one fewer carry. With Herbert banged up and the Chargers’ offensive line a mess in pass protection, the Chargers could lean heavily into their rookie first-rounder over the next few weeks as he gets further removed from injury.

Kimani Vidal: 14 Carries, 44 Yards | 3 Targets, 1 Reception, 60 Yards
Vidal had the longest play of the game and of his career with a 60-yard catch and run on the Chargers’ first third down of the game. He maintained the slight lead in running back opportunities in Hampton’s first game back, and they should continue to operate in a split until Hampton is ready to take on the bulk of the work again.
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Ladd McConkey: 5 Targets, 1 Reception, 12 Yards
The entire Chargers passing game was rendered ineffective by how often the Eagles generated pressure. McConkey recorded just one reception for the second time in his career. He had a few opportunities on shots down the field, but was tightly contested by Eagles standout cornerback Cooper DeJean. McConkey is the only reliable fantasy option in this offense currently, and he’ll see better days.
Keenan Allen: 3 Targets, 3 Receptions, 22 Yards
Allen hauled in all three of his targets for 22 yards and has only cleared 50 receiving yards once since his 11 catch, 119 yard, one touchdown performance in Week 7 against the Colts. Tre Harris has cut into his routes, and Oronde Gasden has cut into his production.
Quentin Johnston: 3 Targets, 2 Receptions, 8 Yards
Johnston stays running mostly clear out routes, though he did draw a defensive pass interference after beating Quinyon Mitchell on one rep.
Oronde Gadsden: 4 Targets, 1 Reception, 7 Yards
Gadsden has just four catches for 75 yards on nine targets in the past three games. He was incredible in his first four games in a full-time role, but the production just hasn’t been there lately as the Chargers have opted for heavier TE bodies at times to help protect. Plus, you notice him many times in this game staying in to chip before eventually releasing out for a route.
Tre Harris: 2 Targets, 1 Reception, 18 Yards | 1 Carry, 3 Yards
His role is slowly increasing, but nothing significant yet.
