What We Saw: Preseason Week 2

Breakdowns of every game from Week 2 of the 2025 NFL preseason!

WELCOME TO THE 2025 NFL PRESEASON! It’s been a long winter, spring, and summer, but we’re finally back, baby! What We Saw 2025 is here, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring our readers analysis of every snap this season, beginning with Preseason Week 2. With position battles and injuries affecting playing time across the league, we saw some fantasy studs ball out as well as some relative unknowns make a name for themselves. Some of the biggest highlights this week were:

  • Caleb Williams deftly guiding the Bears to a 97-yard touchdown drive
  • Zach Charbonnet reminded us that Kenneth Walker III isn’t alone in Seattle
  • TreVeyon Henderson made a case to lead the Patriots’ backfield, while Efton Chism III looked like a young Julian Edelman
  • Rookie running back Ollie Gordon is doing his part to earn playing time in a Miami backfield behind Achane
  • J.K. Dobbins is reportedly still looking for his helmet

Click through the links above to catch up on everything you missed from around the league this week, and ask our analysts any questions you have in our Reddit post.

Make sure to check out Jay’s Ultimate Draft Guide and come back later in the week to see our staff mock draft results and listen to Brian, Nick, and Mario analyze every pick.
