There’s nothing better than finding a comfy spot on the couch and settling in for 10-consecutive hours of NFL action. After weeks of waiting, we finally got to do just that on Sunday as Week 1 action fired off with some exciting games to open the year. After a fun couple of primetime games on Thursday and Friday, Sunday gave us even more fast-paced action, hard hits and some eye-opening performances. Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins helped prevent a mammoth upset in the Mile High City, while several other performers put up big stat lines as well.
- Daniel Jones looked better than expected in his Colts debut with three total touchdowns
- Emeka Egbuka showed out for the Bucs, pulling in the game-winning touchdown to lead his team to a victory
- Derrick Henry thrived on the ground but Josh Allen and the Bills stormed back to steal a win over the AFC rival Ravens
- Instead of the defensive rock fight most of us anticipated, the Jets and Steelers competed in a shootout, as Aaron Rodgers threw for four scores
