Tylan Wallace does deserve the spotlight for our featured image after winning the game against the Rams on a punt return TD in overtime, but we usually highlight someone fantasy-relevant given this is a Fantasy Football series of articles. However, this incredible shot by Mark Goldman of Icon Sportswire made up our minds for us, and our own Justin Paradis worked his magic to give us this spectacular image headlining our article today. Shoutout Justin.
As for those fantasy-relevant players who we considered this week: Drake London finally broke out in a huge way, Evan Engram and David Njoku both went full beast mode in Cleveland, Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp showed they’re still an elite combination, and Lamar Jackson did what Lamar Jackson does en route to a win. Oh, and Deebo Samuel once again showed he’s probably the most versatile and electric player in the league.
Speaking of electric, we almost had the most electric play of the decade in Kansas City if not for Kadarius Toney‘s left foot. It led to a full meltdown on the sidelines from Patrick Mahomes that made Chernobyl look tame, followed by more whining in the press conferences after the game. Mahomes’ behavior will unfortunately cast a shadow over that play and an otherwise great game.
