Sink or Swim: Week 11

QUARTERBACK SWIM Philip Rivers (Los Angeles Chargers): Despite being in the concussion protocol, Rivers expects to play this weekend and he should be in for a good day against a Bills team that is rapidly becoming more and more dysfunctional. If he is active on Sunday, he should be started as a solid QB1 option.

Waiver Wire: Week 11

NOTE: Players mentioned will be owned in 40% or less of ESPN leagues. MUST ADD will be a recommended add in all leagues. MAYBE ADD is for those in 12 team leagues or deeper. DEEP ADD is for those in 14+ team leagues.  QUARTERBACKS No QB’s this week. RUNNING BACKS Austin Ekeler (Los Angeles Chargers) – 2% OWNED – MAYBE ADD If […]

Sink or Swim: Week 10

QUARTERBACK SWIM Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers): You can hold on to the “Ben on the road” narrative, but he and the Steelers offense were really starting to pick up before the bye, and I expect them to come out firing in this easy match up. This Colts defense is in shambles per usual, and won’t be […]

Waiver Wire: Week 10

NOTE: Players mentioned will be owned in 40% or less of ESPN leagues. MUST ADD will be a recommended add in all leagues. MAYBE ADD is for those in 12 team leagues or deeper. DEEP ADD is for those in 14+ team leagues.  QUARTERBACKS Josh McCown (New York Jets) – 35.9% OWNED – MAYBE ADD The 9th ranked fantasy QB at the […]

Sink or Swim: Week 9

QUARTERBACK SWIM Jared Goff (Los Angeles Rams): The Giants have all of a sudden become the worse passing defense in football, allowing each opposing QB to finish as a QB1 over the past 4 weeks. The Rams have been one of the higher scoring offenses, with Goff having QB1 fantasy value when able to capitalize […]

Waiver Wire: Week 8

Not a whole lot of injuries with major fantasy implications from this past weekend. Chris Hogan is likely to miss a few weeks with a shoulder injury, but I don’t see Phillip Dorsett becoming relevant in fantasy leagues because of it. There are a couple of names to keep in mind as far as players returning […]

Sink or Swim: Week 8

Last week was a bit of a step back after a positive week 6. That actually may be an understatement, as almost no one “swam” as they were supposed to. The streaming QB’s were all for the most part disastrous,  on Sunday. Outside of Alvin Kamara, the RB’s were terrible as well, with Adrian Peterson […]

Waiver Wire: Week 8

Carson Palmer’s broken arm suffered during Sundays loss will likely keep him out for most of the rest of the season and all but eliminates the Cardinals from playoff contention. This obviously puts a damper on the Cardinals skilled players going forward, with Adrian Peterson and Larry Fitzgerald the only two worth owning at this […]

Sink or Swim: Week 7

Overall, last weeks picks were mostly successful, with a few outliers here and there. Marshawn Lynch disappointed and continues to do so on a week to week basis. Jay Ajayi ran like his life depended on it, ripping off 130 yards on the ground to help kick-start the Dolphins offense. Tyrell Williams and Jamison Crowder are […]

Waiver Wire: Week 7

Another brutal week in the injury department, with Aaron Rodgers being the biggest name to go down. His broken collarbone requires surgery, and he will likely miss the rest of the regular season, making him droppable in all formats. Two more potential long-term injuries of note would be Golden Tate’s shoulder and Emmanuel Sanders ankle. […]
