Injury Report Week 6: Sunday Update

Welcome to the Sunday edition of Injury Report, your one-stop shop for Sunday morning lineup tinkering with injury updates for all NFL teams and their fantasy viable players.

Here is where we stand on the morning of Week 6:

Arizona Cardinals

No injured players

Atlanta Falcons

Hurt Players:

Devonta Freeman– out 2-3 weeks with a knee contusion.

Injury Impacts

Tevin Coleman elevates to must play territory based on the volume alone. Coleman has proven to a stand alone asset for fantasy owners as well as someone who can produce RB1 value when given the opportunity. Freeman will return eventually though so looking to capitalize on Coleman’s production could pay off by mid season when he is no longer getting all the running back touches.

Baltimore Ravens

No injured players

Buffalo Bills

No injured players

Carolina Panthers

Hurt Players:

Greg Olsen– Questionable

Injury Impacts::Carolina is beginning to come back to full go as Olsen looks to go this week. If he does sit it won’t be long until he is back in action.

Chicago Bears

No injured players

Cincinnati Bengals

Hurt Players:

Giovani Bernard-week to week

John Ross-doubtful

Tyler kroft-week to week

Tyler Eifert-out for season

Injury Impact Mixon reenters the starting role right as Bernard becomes hurt. Mixon should step right into low end RB1-RB2 numbers.  c.j uzomah’s value grows with the continuation of his first team reps as well as a juicy match up vs an awful Pittsburg defense.

Cleveland Browns

No injured players

Dallas Cowboys

No injured players

Denver Broncos

No injured players

Detroit Lions

Hurt Players:

Kerryon Johnson-Questionable

Injury Impacts:

Johnson should play for the lions and if he does not it would go back to an under impressive committee of Blunt and Riddict.

Green Bay Packers

Hurt Players:

Randall Cobb– Questionable

Geronimo Allison – Questionable

Injury Impacts:

Both remain game time decisions for the packers. With the emergence of  marquez valdes-scantling it no longer feels like the total void at the second WR position if they were to both miss.

Houston Texans

Hurt Players:

DeAndre Hopkins– Out Indefinitely

Deshaun Watson- Questionable

Injury Impacts:

Both limited in practice, but both are going to play. Have no fear.

Indianapolis Colts

Hurt Players:

T.Y Hilton-out

Jack Doyle-out

Injury Impacts: It will hurt the colts to have Lucks top options out but if Luck is the type of impact player many expect him to be than he will be able to lead the Colts to a high scoring win vs a soft Jets team.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Hurt Players:

Leonard Fournette-Out

Marqise Lee– Out for the season

Injury Impacts:

Fournette is out so T.J Yeldon is an instant start in a game that could feature a lot of work out of the Jacksonville tailback in both passing down situations and clock management situations.

Kansas City Chiefs

No injured players.

Los Angeles Chargers

Hurt Players:

Travis Benjamin- Questionable

Hunter Henry-Out for the season

Injury Impacts:

The Chargers continue to have one of the deepest offensive units in the game. Tyrell Williams will continue to have a growing role with the absence of Benjamin.

Los Angeles Rams

No injured players

Miami Dolphins

Hurt Players:

Jakeem Grant-probable

Ryan Tannehill-Probable

 DeVante Parker-Game time decision

Injury Impacts: Miami will probably be at full service Sunday but things don’t seem all that great in Miami. Chicago is coming off a bye and will look to out physical Miami all game. It would be hard to trust any fantasy option.

Hurt Players:

Dalvin Cook-OUT

Injury Impacts:  Cook will play roughly 20-30 snaps Sunday. The rest will go to Murray. Slow and steady wins the race with Cook and the Vikings. A fully healthy Cook in two weeks far surpasses the low snap counts now.

Edit: Dalvin Cook has been ruled inactive

No injured players

New Orleans Saints

Hurt Players:

Ted Ginn-out

Injury Impacts:The Saints are FAR from in need of Ginn at the moment. He won’t be trust worthy the rest of the season even when healthy.

New England Patriots

Hurt Players:

Rob Gronkouski-questionable

Chris Hogan-questionable

Josh Gordon-questionable

Sony Michel-questionable

Injury Impacts: Most of these players all expect to suit up. As always, James White remains healthy and one of the safest running back options in all of fantasy.

Oakland Raiders

No injured players

New York Jets

Hurt Players:

Isaiah Crowell-Probable

Injury Impacts: The game should end in points being scored so all Jet players should see a general good day on Sunday. Assume Crowell to be active Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers

No injured players

Seattle Seahawks

No injured players

San Francisco 49ers

Hurt Players:

Jimmy Garoppolo- Out for the season

Matt Breida– Questionable

Marquise Goodwin-Questionable

Dante Pettis- Questionable

George Kittle-Questionable

Trent Taylor-Out

Injury Impacts: The 49ners offense is dreadfully treading water. It is so bad at the moment that you honestly have better options. The losses have come brick by brick for the 49ners but for your fantasy team you should be able to make up the loss ground from the 49ners not producing to the bar many expected.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Hurt Players:

O.J Howard-Week to Week.

Injury Impacts:Cameron Brate becomes a starting TE in his absence.

Tennessee Titans

Hurt Players:

No injured players

Hurt Players:

Paul Richardson-Questionable

Josh Doctson – Questionable

Adrien Peterson-Week to week

Chris Thompson-Doubtful

Jamison Crowder-Week to week

Injury Impacts:The Washington team will need rebound from a total let down in week 5. Thompson and Crowder will most likely play and the rest will be closer to game time decisions.

Edit: Chris Thompson is reportedly unlikely to play
