QB List’s Fantasy Football Rankings: Week 4

Erik Smith and Ryan Heath release their PPR fantasy football rankings for Week 4.

Ryan Heath’s QB Rankings

  • The quarterback position is very ugly after three weeks. I don’t trust much of anybody here after Josh AllenLamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts. My QB18 could easily outscore my QB4 this week.
  • While still a heavy underdog against Philadelphia, Trevor Lawrence ranks 6th in EPA, 6th in completion percentage, and 12th in expected points among qualified quarterbacks. Even in a game where the Jaguars are implied just 21 points, the 48.5 over/under and likely negative game script make Lawrence a strong streamer this week.
  • Jacoby Brissett and the Browns boast the 4th-highest implied total this week against a Falcons defense allowing nearly 20 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. A run-heavy game script is certainly a risk, but Brissett should have little trouble returning low-end streamer value.
  • Matthew Stafford has had a rough few weeks, currently ranking as just the QB23. Things won’t get any easier in Week 4, with the Rams now 2.5-point underdogs in what is now just a 42.5 over/under game. The 49ers have allowed less than 10 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. When Marcus Mariota is projected to have a better chance than you to top 16 fantasy points, you probably shouldn’t be in starting lineups.
