Ryan Heath’s QB Rankings
- I cannot remember a worse week for the quarterback position. With four plug-and-play top-15 options on bye, I am extremely happy to be able to rank both Dak Prescott and Tua Tagovailoa in the top 7. The Cowboys and Dolphins have the 2nd and 7th-highest implied totals this week. This week is your reward if you’ve been holding on to either player.
- There aren’t many new faces in the quarterback streaming scene this week. Jimmy Garoppolo could face another negative game script this week against Kansas City. The potential for another 40+ pass attempts going largely to Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle is enough to get him to the QB1 borderline this week.
- Marcus Mariota and Trevor Lawrence are streaming standbys at this point. Both (somehow) rank top-12 in EPA per pass attempt on the season. They each made their days on rushing scores last week, but it is not point chasing to play Lawrence in a game where he’s favored by 3 points or Mariota in a game where Arthur Smith may finally be forced to throw. This is all probably wishful thinking, but that’s what we’re left with at QB this week.
