Sit/Start 2024 Week 2: Reviewing All Fantasy Relevant Players In Every Single Game

Sit or Start recommendations for every relevant player in Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season.

Week 2 of the NFL season is already here, and the sweet smell of fall football is right around the corner. We are still living in the glory of bye-week-free football. The dreaded injury bug has already struck, though, and managers of Christian McCaffrey and Puka Nacua, among others, are left trying to make roster-changing trades. The good news is that now is the time to make those moves while your whole league is still completely engaged and overreactions are running rampant.

In Week 2, we dive a little deeper into our player notes, including usage numbers, target share, and more. Week 3, we go even deeper, and by Week 4, we have some of the best data to help you prepare for bye weeks and beyond! They also have notes of a few great options to keep an eye on or add right before the games start to get ahead of that initial run of waivers, which can be costly for those of you using FAAB or waiver priority. As always, you can check out my list of weekly rankings to complement these sit/start recommendations.

Some quick notes before you jump in:

  1. Remember, sits/Starts and Rankings are not set in stone. They are tools to guide you, not rules to follow blindly. Use them to shape your own decisions and make the best lineup adjustments for your team. Good Matchups are great, but getting too cute can cost you the week. Ask yourself this: “Am I going to feel more tortured by benching player X and him going off, or not playing player Y?”
  2. Have fun, talk trash, and win your matchups. If you don’t, there’s always next week.

Let’s Dive in.
