The List: Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 2 UPDATE

Updated FLEX and positional rankings for Week 2 of fantasy football!

We have some injury updates that need to be mentioned for Week 2.

Two star receivers, Nico Collins and Zay Flowers, are expected to miss Week 2. Collins has already been ruled out, while Flowers is listed as doubtful, which probably means he’s out.

For the Ravens, Rashod Bateman will likely be the biggest beneficiary at wide receiver. I still don’t view him as much more than a desperate FLEX play at best. If you were looking for a receiver to start, this may not be the direction you want to go. Deep-league names like Devontez Walker and Elijah Sarratt will be mentioned, but not many Ravens receivers outside of Flowers have been startable for fantasy. Expect the running game and tight ends to see increased opportunities.

For the Texans, Kayshon Boutte has some deep FLEX value after running the most routes at 68% in his first game with Houston. Boutte has shown in the past that he can produce decent fantasy numbers, so if you’re going to take a chance on one of these receivers, he would be my preferred option. Xavier Hutchinson and Jaylin Noel are other interesting names in that desperate FLEX range. However, I think Dalton Schultz ultimately sees the most targets among the Texans’ pass catchers this weekend.
