The List: Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 3

PPR fantasy football positional rankings, including top 150 FLEX players, for Week 3.

The tight end position has underperformed so far this season. There really is no way around it. Week 3 should change that. There are favorable matchups throughout the position. Before we dive into those, we should address Evan Engram’s injury and the impact on your rosters. Engram was a surprise inactive in Week 2, hurting his hamstring during pre-game warmups. Engram has been underutilized, and the Jaguars have been a mess to start the year. He is currently week to week, which does not bode well for his Week 3 status. I would look elsewhere for this week with plans towards Week 4 just to be safe. Some names I like are Hunter Henry, Colby Parkinson, and Mike Gesicki.

When it comes to the healthy tight ends for fantasy football, the bounce-back weeks are here! Sam LaPorta should reclaim his spot atop the tight end position rankings as he faces the Cardinals, who have let up the fourth most fantasy points in the tight end position this season. On the other sideline in the same game, Trey McBride should also find plenty of run in this one, with the Lions allowing the fifth most points to the position. The rest of the green tier wraps up with Brock Bowers continuing to dominate for the Raiders and the Travis Kelce bounce back.

The rest of the tight end positions from TE5-14 are all relatively similar in what they can offer based on their early season usage and matchup. If you are going deeper than that, I am assuming you lost either David Njoku or Engram. The Ravens duo of Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely is where you need to pay the closest attention—not to the counting stats but to usage numbers. If Likely can see an increase in usage but not blow up for another huge game, fantasy managers should be buying.
