The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 14

Erik Smith releases his PPR fantasy football rankings for Week 14.

The fantasy playoffs are on the doorstep, and Javonte Williams has burst onto the scene just in time for a fantasy championship push. Williams got the lead back duties last week with Melvin Gordon sidelined and had the most electric performance possible for a player on a team that scored just nine points. Williams was the RB1 in Week 13 and flashed his elite tackle-breaking ability and strength in the running game, rumbling for 102 yards on 23 carries. Williams also continued his strong play in the passing game, catching six passes for 76 yards and a touchdown, while leading the team with nine targets.

Gordon looks primed to play this week, so we will see if Williams has earned more work in the eyes of the coaching staff. But Williams looks like a complete back capable of being a league-winner when given the opportunity, and if the Broncos could find any way to reel in a capable quarterback next year, Williams could see his stock shoot to the moon. Williams has earned a spot on the cover of The List, and I’m excited to see where his career goes from here.

No notes this week, but please check out the Sit/Start Podcast where I went in-depth on my thoughts behind my rankings. Best of luck in the last week of the regular season!
