It’s Week 16 and you are hopefully rampaging through your fantasy playoffs like Jonathan Taylor through a worn-down defensive line. If not, however, you are likely left sorting out your RB2 position among several intriguing yet concerning options, and Miles Sanders may be the perfect illustration of our conundrum as fantasy football managers.
Sanders has both good and bad points going for him entering this crucial week. Back-to-back 100 yard rushing games and a combined 288 all-purpose yards over the past two weeks; good! A 49% snap share last week with Jordan Howard soaking up 47% of the snaps; bad! A matchup against a Giants defense giving up the ninth-most PPR points to opposing running backs in 2021; good! A matchup against a Giants defense that held this same Eagles offense to just 7 points less than one month ago; bad! And this, ladies and gentlemen, is our RB18 in the midst of the fantasy football playoffs, and Sanders feels like an appropriate player to put on the cover of The List. Oh, and did I mention that Sanders was an estimated “Did Not Practice” with a quad injury yesterday if the Eagles had held a practice? Good luck out there this week, folks.
