The List: Way Too Early Fantasy Football Rankings for ’21

Erik Smith releases his initial PPR rankings for the 2021 fantasy football season

With the Super Bowl approaching this week, what better time to take stock of the upcoming 2021 fantasy football season. In true NFL fashion, a blockbuster trade went down while setting my rankings, with Jared Goff heading to Detroit and Matthew Stafford heading to Los Angeles. With numerous quarterbacks still likely to change teams before all is said and done, these rankings will undergo multiple changes before we even make it to the NFL Draft in April.

Rankings are based on a typical one quarterback PPR league but should be helpful for any league type. Check out each positional set of rankings for notes on players that caught my eye during the process of writing this, and I’ve even provided 9 rounds of overall rankings at the end.

I recently recorded my Way Too Early Rankings Podcast as well, and on Monday, February 1 we will have a Way Too Early Mock Draft with some QB List staff and friends across the fantasy industry. Check us out on Twitter to follow along.

It’s been a great year, thank you for following us at QB List, and feel free to ask any questions in the comment section or on Twitter. I hope this offseason treats you all well.
