Top Players to Add in Week 15
It’s playoff time, and it’s time to shut up or shine your way to a fantasy football championship. Even in the playoffs, it’s essential to pick up players who help your team or even block your opponents from taking them.
As a reminder, we’ll be covering Waivers every Tuesday morning right here on football.pitcherlist.com. You can also catch our Waiver Wire show with Brian Hartman (aka @TooMuch_Brian) on the Waiver podcast every Tuesday morning and the Start/Sit podcast every Thursday morning, wherever you listen to podcasts.
Here are my top five targets, as well as some honorable mentions, to help you win through the wire this week.
An important thing to consider: this article focuses on players who are rostered in 50% or fewer of leagues. There could be players rostered in over 50% of leagues that are available in your league. Be vigilant; watch your league’s Free Agency pool and look for players who were given up on too early.
1. Jaylen Wright – Our number one waiver-wire pickup is Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright. This move is more about insurance than an immediate Week 15 plug-and-play, but Wright has real short-term and playoff value. Dolphins star RB De’Von Achane left Week 14 with a rib injury; while he reportedly could have returned in an emergency, Miami may choose to rest or limit him heading into the fantasy playoffs. Achane is expected to sit out most of practice this week, and while it’s less likely, there remains a real possibility he misses Week 15.
Wright stepped in as the next man up and handled 24 touches for 107 yards and a touchdown, showing he can operate as a full-time back if needed. Even if Achane plays, we’ve seen Miami scale his workload—remember, he only needed eight touches last week to surpass 100 yards. Wright could have a 1B role in Week 15, and if Achane is ruled out, Wright becomes a potential fantasy starter. Don’t overlook the schedule, either: the Dolphins face the Bengals in Week 16, another spot where Wright could carry value during the most critical stretch of the fantasy postseason. Scoop Wright now to protect yourself—and to prevent a playoff opponent from landing a high-upside insurance back.
2. Andrei Iosivas– The recent news that Tee Higgins is back in the concussion protocol opens the door for Andrei Iosivas to see a bigger role. This is Higgins’ second concussion in three weeks, as he also suffered one in Week 12 that forced him to miss Week 13. His Week 14 status is now very much in doubt.
If Higgins sits, Iosivas becomes an intriguing FLEX option in what could be a high-scoring matchup. In the two games this season where either Higgins or Ja’Marr Chase missed time, Iosivas produced 5 receptions, 90 yards, and a touchdown, scoring at least nine fantasy points in both contests. With a healthy Joe Burrow back under center, the Bengals offense should be in a strong position to take advantage of a Ravens secondary that has been inconsistent throughout the year. If Higgins cannot clear the concussion protocol, Iosivas offers legitimate FLEX appeal in Week 14 with sneaky upside. Tight End Mike Gesicki could be an option as well if Higgins is out.
3. Isaiah Likely – Our tight end target this week is Isaiah Likely, who has quietly started to see more opportunity over the last two games. During that span, he’s earned six targets and posted 10+ fantasy points in both contests. The Ravens look locked into playoff mode over these final four weeks, and Likely’s involvement should remain steady as they continue to ramp up their offense.
He draws a prime matchup in Week 15 against the Bengals, who allow the most fantasy points per game to tight ends. This will be the second meeting between these teams in three weeks, and in their previous matchup, Likely put up 95 receiving yards and came inches away from a touchdown before fumbling at the goal line. With this game projected to be higher scoring, Likely should have ample opportunity to produce in Round 1 of the fantasy playoffs.
4. Blake Corum – If you picked up Blake Corum and rolled him into your lineup, you’re probably feeling pretty good right now. Corum exploded for 100+ yards and two touchdowns in a blowout win over the Cardinals, delivering exactly the kind of league-tilting production managers were hoping for. It’s easy to assume his volume came purely from game script, but Corum was already heavily involved early. He finished the first half with only four fewer touches than Kyren Williams in what was still a competitive 24–10 game. That usage matters — especially after reports from ESPN’s Dan Graziano that offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur wants to keep Williams fresher with a lighter workload during a potential playoff push.
That opens the door for Corum to see increased touches over the final three weeks of the fantasy season. While this week’s matchup isn’t ideal, the Rams offense consistently creates scoring opportunities, and Corum has shown he can capitalize near the goal line. He should remain in the FLEX/RB3 mix with touchdown upside, especially if his role continues to grow.
5. Devin Singletary – If you were able to pick up Devin Singletary during the bye week, then you’re already in great shape. If not — and he’s still available — he should be one of the top waiver adds for anyone needing running back help in Round 1 of the fantasy playoffs.
There’s still no update on whether Tyrone Tracy Jr. will suit up in Week 15 after suffering a hip injury back in Week 13. That uncertainty opens the door for Singletary to handle a significant workload, especially in a strong matchup against the Commanders, who have allowed the 5th-most fantasy points per game to running backs. We just saw RJ Harvey put up big numbers on them last week, exposing their issues against the run. If Tracy sits, Singletary should see the majority of the touches — including valuable work in the passing game — making him a low-end RB2 with stable volume for playoff teams searching for consistency.
Others Receiving Votes
Jalen Coker, CAR (3% ESPN, 4% Yahoo!) – It’s not a great waiver-wire wide receiver, but Jalen Coker is a player who may be able to help you if you are in need. He plays the Saints in Week 15, and Coker was coming off his best game in Week 13 before the Panthers’ BYE. He could see more involvement in a favorable matchup.
Rasheen Ali, BAL (0% ESPN, 0% Yahoo!) – The Ravens’ fourth-string running back pops up here with a potential injury to Keaton Mitchell. With Justice Hill already on IR, Ali could sub in as the pass-catching back in a big matchup against the Bengals in Week 15.
Ryan Flournoy, ATL (0% ESPN, 1% Yahoo!) – Don’t expect similar numbers to Flournoy’s in Week 14, but if CeeDee Lamb were to miss Week 15, Flournoy could reach FLEX appeal.
Defense Wins Championships
Miami Dolphins (24% owned) – Miami’s defense has double-digit finishes in 3 of the last 4 games. They have a somewhat favorable matchup against the Steelers on MNF.
San Francisco 49ers (23% owned) – Fresh off a bye week, the 49ers come back in Week 15 in a good matchup against the poor Titans offense, which allowed plenty of sacks and turnovers.
Carolina Panthers (4% owned) – Another team coming off a bye week is the Panthers, who face the Saints on the road in Week 15. While the Saints have played a little better, the Panthers have a solid defense that could cause issues for the rookie quarterback.
