Happy Tuesday Fantasy Footballers. The playoffs are upon us and the lucky few that have made it now need to play the strongest lineup possible. No being cute anymore. It is, for most of us, the first week of the playoffs and it is win or go home starting now. Even though we are starting the best lineup, there are still priority adds that you should make to fill in those flex spots or that quarterback slot that you’ve been streaming. Also, it can be nice to block one of your opponents from getting someone that could beat you.

Now, let’s hop into what we need to do to get you to the next round of the playoffs, shall we?

The ownership percentage is based on Yahoo Fantasy Leagues.

Priority Adds

QB – Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (5% Owned)

Putting up running back numbers with 235 yards rushing the past two weeks, Josh Allen is going ballistic with his rushing totals. A week after going for 100 yards on the ground, Allen went for 135 more in Week 13 on only nine carries! To go along with that, he is actually starting to sling it around, unlike his fellow rookie Lamar Jackson. Allen gets the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets! this week and it is a salivating matchup seeing as how the Jets gave up 42 yards on five carries to Marcus Mariota. I have Allen as my QB9 this week so if you need help he is viable and I think he has a big game.

FAAB: 5%

RB – Jaylen Samuels, Pittsburg Steelers (13% Owned)

Oh boy, for a guy that was stashing handcuffs, I was out of slots for this one. This was unfortunate because Jaylen Samuels is stepping in for the Steelers at RB with James Conner on the mend after an ankle sprain. This is the guy you want, especially in Yahoo leagues where he gets TE eligibility where he would instantly be a top tier TE as long as he starts. If you are in a FAAB league spend ALL the money on Samuels, he is worth it in a must win week, especially against a terrible Oakland Raiders run defense.

FAAB: EMPTY THE BANK

WR – Dante Pettis, San Francisco 49ers (7% Owned)

With Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin out, Dante Pettis has put up 9/206/3 in the past two weeks. With the WR targets virtually all to himself and a growing role, Pettis is a threat for a big game week to week now. This week he gets Denver who is down their best corner, Chris Harris. Expect him to be on the flex radar if you need a fill in and miss out on Samuels or if you just lost AJ Green for the season heading into the playoffs.

FAAB: 30%

TE – If you are in Yahoo leagues, see “RB” section…if not, play eenie meenie minee mo.

Good luck in your playoff matchup! Let me know down in the comments if you have any start/sit decisions you need help with.
