What We Saw: Week 3

Mike Williams is finally the guy we all wanted him to be, and the rest of What We Saw in Week 3

Did you give up on Mike Williams before this season? I did, and while I’m glad he’s finally having some success it’s left me wondering why on earth it’s taken this long. He’s clearly always had the talent, was Philip Rivers just that washed up? I’m sure a full offseason working with a guy who finally has the arm talent to make the most of his strengths has certainly helped, but it still stings for those of us who were burned in the past. We’ll survive and still enjoy what looks to be a monstrous season incoming.

Other stories for Week 3 include Josh Allen rounding back into form, Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp picking up right where they left off in Week 2, and Pittsburgh’s offense looking abysmal despite Najee Harris catching 14 (yes, 14) passes. Oh, and Justin Tucker kicked a ridiculous 66-yard field goal to win the game and set a new NFL record that may stand for a long, long time.
