Welcome to the weekend! Friday night gave us a trio of NFL Preseason games as the Jacksonville Jaguars squared off with the Atlanta Falcons, the Miami Dolphins traveled just north to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Francisco 49ers took on the Las Vegas Raiders in what used to be considered the Bay Area Classic. In case you missed any of the action, the What We Saw team has you covered. Here’s some of the takeaways from Friday night:
- Trevor Lawrence and Evan Engram connected for a pair of scores
- Mac Jones proved he’s a capable NFL backup
- Miami Dolphins rookie Jalen Wright‘s stock continues to rise despite the crowded backfield
- Jordan Mason might be RB2 in San Francisco
- Josh Dobbs is DEFINITELY QB2 in San Francisco
