What We Saw: Week 13

The What We Saw team recaps Week 13 of the NFL season from a fantasy perspective

The 1:00 slate of games was straight up brutal with the likes of Chargers @ Patriots, Falcons @ Jets, and Cardinals @ Steelers gracing our televisions for far too long. Thankfully we were given one of the craziest games we’ve seen in a while from the Colts and Titans, one that featured a blocked punt returned for a touchdown and an intercepted two point conversion attempt that resulted in two points for the Titans instead. I sat on my couch in envy watching that game pop up on Red Zone every few minutes while my other TV was stuck on the Patriots game. So it goes.

We feature Nico Collins this week because, well, he’s the de-facto number one receiver in Houston now with Tank Dell suffering a season-ending injury. Collins went absolutely off and all of the truthers can finally take their victory lap.

Deebo Samuel and Brock Purdy lit up the weak Eagles secondary en route to a blowout victory in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game. It was the game everyone was looking forward to but was pretty much over in the third quarter. Shame.

Other notable performances around the league came from Tyreek Hill (obviously), Mike Evans, Sam LaPorta, Michael Pittman, and Jordan Love.
