What We Saw: Week 13

The QB List staff catches you up on everything you missed during Week 13 of the 2020 NFL season.

Chicago may have lost the game, but David Montgomery slashed and diced his way through the barren football plains that is Chicago. He couldn’t repeat his 100 yard feat from Week 12, but two touchdowns were likely enough to break some hearts en route to some fantasy upsets.

Speaking of breaking hearts, Baker Mayfield broke out of his season-long slump by throwing four touchdowns in the first half of the Browns’ game against Tennessee. The Titans’ defense is that bad, but is Baker actually even that good? Well, at 9-3, if he keeps winning games then he just very well may be.

The true fantasy star of the day was none other than Darren Waller. 200 yards receiving on 13 receptions is unheard of for a tight end, and when you throw in the two TDs he scored on the day, it was one of the best fantasy performances by a TE in the history of the league.

It was a fun week of football, and hopefully, you weren’t beat by a Hill/Mahomes stack. For the rest of What We Saw in Week 13, check out the links above, and be sure to give our Week 13 What We Saw Podcast a listen!
