What a weekend. After everyone scoffed at the Detroit Lions opening as -2.5 point favorites against the 10-2 Vikings, the Lions showed up to play and outclassed the #2 ranked team in the NFC. The Lions suddenly find themselves sniffing the playoffs for the first time in forever – who saw that coming?
For fantasy purposes, it was most of the usual suspects who had big days. Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and Christian McCaffery all stood out, but nobody saw Evan Engram or Jerick McKinnon having the monster days they did, let alone Jerry Jeudy in that terrible Broncos offense. It truly goes to show that on any given Sunday, anything can happen.
