What We Saw: Week 14

Rashaad Penny came out of nowhere to be a potential league winner. Who knew?

Wait, who is this guy? Is that THE Rashaad Penny that has been promised to us for years? Yes, it sure is, and he looked as fresh as ever against the lowly Texans. Penny’s coming-out party likely led to many playoff berths for anyone who had the guts to fire him up this week, and if he sticks as the lead back for the rest of the season he could go down in the record books as a Fantasy Football legend.

Meanwhile, anyone who doubted the Kansas City Chiefs after their slow start to the season are now likely eating their words after the Chiefs finally put their foot on the gas and blew out the Las Vegas Raiders. Patrick Mahomes was efficient through the air but let his run game do most of the work, including a 51 yard TD run from Derrick Gore. On the other side, Hunter Renfrow has solidified himself as one of the most consistent fantasy WRs in the league over the last five weeks. He’s the type of late-round pick that is going to propel a lot of teams to fantasy championships this season.

It was a wild day of football across the league, and the What We Saw team has you covered for everything you missed. For the rest of What We Saw, check out the links above.
