Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots
Final Score: Bills 35, Patriots 31

The Bills stormed into Foxborough and looked extremely overmatched early, but were able to pull off a thrilling comeback and upset, snapping New England’s 10-game win streak and inching just a game back of the Pats’ grip of the AFC East. Buffalo — led by Josh Allen and a pair of tuddies from James Cook and Dawson Knox — at one point scored touchdowns in five consecutive drives on what was an implosion for the ages defensively for the Pats, who were up 21-0 with about 5 minutes left in the second quarter. Officials were questionable, but in the end, New England’s abysmal defensive performance was what lost it the game.
Three Up
- James Cook — Turned in one of the best rushing performances against the No. 3 ground defense in football.
- Dawson Knox — First multi-touchdown game since 2021.
- TreVeyon Henderson — Ran the ball lights out despite the loss.
Three Down
- Drake Maye — Not your usual performance from the QB, unable to surpass 200 passing yards.
- Stefon Diggs — Lackluster performance continues week after week.
- Hunter Henry — Unable to continue his hot streak of generating big stat lines.
Buffalo Bills
Quarterback
Josh Allen: 19/28, 193 Yards, 3 TDs | 11 Carries, 48 Yards
Josh Allen, after a slow start, looked great in a monumental comeback win. While each signal-caller wasn’t able to surpass 200 passing yards, Allen’s ability to throw for three scores was the difference. Plus, Allen’s legs provided much-needed insurance for the offense. He was sacked multiple times early, but after that the Bills’ O-line allowed nothing to effect the superstar’s game.
Allen had minus-1 passing yards with about 5 minutes left in the second quarter. Evidently, he found his groove and rallied his team to a massive victory in an MVP-caliber performance.
Running Back
James Cook: 22 Carries, 107 Yards, 2 TDs | 3 Targets, 2 Receptions, 4 Yards, TD
James Cook was blown up in his first game against the Patriots’ elite run defense earlier in the year … he did not allow that to effect him in this matchup. Cook turned in by far the most impactful performance on the ground against the Pats in 2025, amassing two scores and over 100 yards, plus added a score via Allen in the passing game. He was nothing short of exceptional after a slow start.
Ty Johnson: 4 Carries, 13 Yards | 3 Targets, 3 Receptions, 15 Yards
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Khalil Shakir: 5 Targets, 5 Receptions, 65 Yards
Khalil Shakir led all Bills’ receivers in snaps, receptions, and yards. This was his first time eclipsing 20 yards over the past three weeks.
Dawson Knox: 4 Targets, 3 Receptions, 37 Yards, 2 TDs
Dawson Knox had a game for the ages, generating his first multi-tuddy game since 2021. While he hasn’t been the most consistent fantasy TE, Knox has been able to tick up his production over the past two weeks averaging 12-plus yards per reception on 130 total yards.
Dalton Kincaid: 4 Targets, 3 Receptions, 34 Yards
While the other TE, Knox, will get a ton of buzz, don’t sleep on Dalton Kincaid‘s steady production. The 26-year-old has been able to go for 30-plus yards over the past four weeks with 10-plus yards per reception, always targeted often by Allen.
Joshua Palmer: 2 Targets, 1 Reception, 16 Yards
Ray Davis: 1 Target, 1 Reception, 13 Yards
Jackson Hawes: 1 Target, 1 Reception, 9 Yards
Brandin Cooks: 3 Targets, 0 Receptions
New England Patriots
Quarterback
Drake Maye: 14/23, 155 Yards, INT | 4 Carries, 43 Yards, 2 TDs
Drake Maye — like the Patriots as a whole — came out of the gates exceptionally hot, but didn’t leave much in the tank towards the end. He was uber-effective in the run game, scoring twice and averaging 10.8 yards per attempt, but he was mediocre at best in the passing game. This marks by far his worst game in 2025. He’ll look to bounce back against the Jets next week.
Running Back
TreVeyon Henderson: 14 Carries, 148 Yards, 2 TDs | 3 Targets, 2 Receptions, 13 Yards
TreVeyon Henderson has been nothing short of elite when the Patriots actually utilize him. His burst of speed combined with top-tier agility when on the outside or in open space is second-to-none. He was able to break off two touchdown runs of more than 50 yards.
Rhamondre Stevenson: 6 Carries, 50 Yards | 3 Targets, 3 Receptions, 27 Yards
Rhamondre Stevenson was efficient, but, with Henderson’s impact on the game, wasn’t able to muster up any solid string of work. He was great in the receiving game as well.
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Mack Hollins: 8 Targets, 4 Receptions, 41 Yards
Mack Hollins continues to make a positive mark on this offense, leading the corps in receiving yards once more this week. He also led all wide receivers in snaps, ranked second in routes run, and had by far the most targets.
Kayshon Boutte: 1 Target, 1 Reception, 30 Yards
Kayshon Boutte played a whole lot in terms of snap count, but was unable to generate anything offensively after making a huge catch in the first quarter.
Stefon Diggs: 4 Targets, 3 Receptions, 28 Yards
Stefon Diggs‘ production has fallen off of a cliff lately. After a slow start rehabbing from injury, Diggs had quite the run of quality and consistent fantasy point production … now, not so much. He’s turned in less than 30 yards over the last three games, and you could attribute his regression in snap count over that span.
Hunter Henry: 3 Targets, 1 Reception, 18 Yards
Hunter Henry, after generating nearly 200 yards over the last two weeks, turned in a measly 18 yards hauling in just one catch against the Bills. His production remains hit or miss, but it’s well documented Maye loves to go his way, especially on crucial downs or in the red zone.
