What We Saw: Week 8

The QB List staff catches you up on everything you missed during Week 8 of the 2020 NFL season.

It was a huge day for some familiar faces on Sunday, as Dalvin CookPatrick MahomesD.K. MetcalfRussell Wilson, and Davante Adams led the scoring around the league. We had some wild finishes in Buffalo, Baltimore and Denver and weather wreaked havoc all over the league. It was a disappointing day for a lot of fantasy studs, but some unheralded rookies (DeeJay Dallas, Brandon Aiyuk) performed admirably in their increased roles. Jimmy Garoppolo left with an ankle injury, leaving Nick Mullens at the helm in San Francisco for the immediate future. The Ravens lost starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley for what appears to be the season after a scary looking injury. The Ravens’ offense will surely miss him.
