Kickoff: Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, 1:00 PM ET

Location: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee

Network: FOX

New England Patriots

Quarterback

Jacoby Brissett: Sit

Drake Maye had his Week 8 cut short against the Jets due to suffering a concussion in the 2nd quarter. In came Jacoby Brissett, who led the charge in the comeback victory to the tune of 15 completions on 24 attempts for 132 yards and no touchdowns; he did have a successful 2-PT conversion, though. Assuming it’s Brissett under center again for New England, he won’t be a viable streaming option this week. Before he was benched for the rookie Maye in Week 6, Brissett had only thrown for two touchdowns in five games.

Running Back

Rhamondre Stevenson: Start, RB2
Antonio Gibson: Sit

Sometimes, fantasy football can dish out such a funny yet rewarding output from a player. In Week 8, Rhamondre Stevenson did just that, having turned 20 carries into just 48 yards, but he did find the end zone twice, as well as a successful 2-PT conversion attempt. He also caught all three of his targets for 17 yards, making for a 23.5 full-PPR performance in the win. Last week, Stevenson out-snapped Antonio Gibson 54 to 13 per FantasyData, so this is clearly Stevenson’s backfield, with Gibson offering much of nothing this season with his limited touches. You can feel safe deploying Stevenson as an RB2 this week.

Wide Receiver

DeMario Douglas: Sit
Kayshon Boutte: Sit

Brissett or Maye under center, it won’t matter for the Patriot receivers this week. I wouldn’t recommend starting any of DeMario Douglas or Kayshon Boutte. With only the 49ers and Steelers on BYE this week, there should be plenty of better options to choose from the wideout position. Not to mention, the Titans are strong against WRs, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing pass catchers on the year.

Tight End

Hunter Henry: Sit

Same deal as above – although I would feel differently if Maye was under center. Hunter Henry is a bit better than being TD-dependent, but not by much, and it’s mostly because the New England WR room is nothing to write home about. In any case, look to stream a different TE this week over Henry.

Tennessee Titans

Quarterback

Mason Rudolph: Sit

Easy call here. Mason Rudolph may have posted decent numbers early on against the Lions last week, but then the game got out of complete control, as Detroit went on to win 52-14. Rudolph finished with 266 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, adding a rushing score into the mix. That said, he’s certainly not a fantasy-relevant QB you’d lean on at any point in time.

Running Back

Tony Pollard: Start, RB1
Julius Chestnut: Sit

Even in a lopsided affair, Tony Pollard salvaged his day some last week against the Lions. He turned 20 carries into 94 scoreless yards, also adding three catches on four targets for 23 yards. With the Titans’ offense lacking weaponry, Pollard is essentially the lone wolf of production week over week. The Patriots’ defense is weak against the run this season, allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing running backs, making Pollard a plus play this week.

Julius Chestnut is the body behind Pollard with Tyjae Spears (hamstring) still sidelined, but he is in no way fantasy-relevant.

Wide Receiver

Calvin Ridley: FLEX Option, WR3
Tyler Boyd: Sit
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Sit

In the first DeAndre Hopkins-less game for the Titans, Calvin Ridley finally ‘got his.’ There was no trip to the end zone against the Lions, but he did haul in 10 of 15 targets for 143 yards. Look for him to continue to see such a high target share week over week, but it’s anyone’s guess if he’ll have consistent success, making him a WR3 at best despite the favorable matchup against the Patriots secondary.

Despite scoring in three straight games, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is still not a receiver worth having in your lineup in any given week. Tyler Boyd, too, hasn’t had a double-digit fantasy game any week this season.

Tight End

Chig Okonkwo: Sit

The Tennessee TE room simply lacks any juice between Chig Okonkwo & Josh Whyle, and neither is worth rostering, let alone streaming in any week.
