Wide Receivers to Know for Week 10
One note is that Jameson Williams should return from his two-game suspension, but the league is currently investigating another off-the-field concern for Williams, which is a situation to monitor. He is my WR25 this week, but this ranking is fluid, and you will need to check back on Saturday for the List Update once more information is available.
Malik Nabers
Nabers continues to be a target hog, reaching 11 targets for the fifth time this season in his seven games played. He has yet to fall below seven targets this season, and that trend should continue. The loss of Andrew Thomas (Giants LT) has proven to be an enormous blow to Nabers’ production, and his ability to post the incredible numbers managers saw in the first few weeks of the season. The Giants offense will continue to struggle as Daniel Jones runs for his life most weeks and is just not an NFL-caliber Quarterback. Luckily for those managers in full point or even half point PPR, Nabers’ value will continue to be floated by volume. He is a WR2 with upside every week, and in Week 10, the upside is palpable. The Panthers have been one of the top defenses against fantasy wide receivers this season, but that is a combination of teams not needing to pass and the talent of cornerback Jaycee Horn. Horn may shadow Nabers in this one, but that shouldn’t scare you away from the rookie pass catcher. I expect Nabers to make a trip to the end zone in this one, and he comes in as my WR9 on the week.
Darnell Mooney
Mooney has put together one of the best seasons of his career in his first season in Atalanta and is on pace for his second time eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards. Drake London is currently day-to-day with an injury, but I do expect him to play in Week 10. The Saints just traded their best and arguably only weapon in their secondary in Marshon Lattimore. This will benefit London, of course, but Cousins has chemistry with Mooney, who is averaging over seven targets a game since Week 2. He is currently my WR18 on the week and has a chance to surpass that if London is not able to suit up this week. Check back on Saturday for the List update for more details.
