Week 2 Quarterbacks

All that hype for Malik Willis as a sleeper, and he could barely total 250 yards against the Raiders? Yeah, no thanks. Willis completed 15 of 27 passes for 220 yards, and the 39 rushing yards and a score were useful. But this idea of being a decent enough passer to be fantasy viable. If he can’t do it against the Raiders…well… who?

Well, the good news is  Kirk Cousins was able to throw three touchdowns in his Raiders debut. The bad? Well…he also threw two picks and could only muster 160 passing yards against whatever you want to call the Dolphins defense. To be fair, Brock Bowers was out of the lineup, and likely will be Week 2 as well after a quick “meniscus trim”. But even if he was active, Cousins isn’t worth considering starting against the Chargers, who are a much better defense than we saw against Arizona in Week 1. –Jay Felicio
