• We still have not gotten much clarity on whether we will see Anthony Richardson or Joe Flacco this week. I don’t expect an official decision until game time. That being said, Joe Flacco seems to be taking most of the first-team reps in practice this week, which seems telling. Keep an eye on these two. If Flacco plays this week, he sits at QB13 for me, but he does populate a tier that goes as high as QB6 on the week. The potential is there in a good matchup. If Richardson were to suit up this week, he would fill in at QB16, as he would be less than 100%, and seeing any sort of increase in his rushing is highly unlikely.
• Jayden Daniels drops to QB5 (Was QB3) in the latest version of my rankings. It is not an indictment on Daniels, who has been incredible all season. It is more due to the competition he has faced thus far this season in comparison to what he will face in the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. For context, Daniels has not faced a single team ranked better than 16th against opposing quarterbacks. The Browns are currently 7th, meaning this could be the first real challenge for the rookie.
• Brock Purdy jumped up a spot to QB4 on the week (Was QB5). Purdy has been solid on the field, but that hasn’t translated to fantasy quite yet. That could change against the Cardinals this week. There are lingering questions about whether George Kittle will be available, but the Cardinals pose a softer matchup, and Purdy has been dealing. He is a prime buy-low candidate.
