• Jonathan Taylor is out; Trey Sermon moves to RB16 on the week in his absence. Sermon is a low-upside play, but against a Jaguars defense allowing nearly 28 points per game, he should find plenty of room to run. With Taylor’s injury history, I would not be shocked to see Sermon get an extended run over the next few weeks.
• Brian Robinson is a game-time decision at the time of writing this. If he plays, he would find himself around RB17, as I would not expect him to see a full complement of snaps. Jeremy McNichols may be a solid option if Robinson were to miss this week, but I am not rushing to pick him up. My money would be on Austin Ekeler being the primary beneficiary, and he comes in as RB15 if Robinson misses and still provides RB2 value as my RB22 if Robinson plays.
• Devin Singletary is officially listed as doubtful. Assuming Singletary will not play this week, the top option in New York would be Tyrone Tracy, who steps in as my RB20 on the week. Tracy is still a bit on the raw side as a true running back, and he will share the backfield to some extent with Eric Gray. That being said, Tracy should be a weapon on the ground AND through the air as a converted wide receiver.
• Zamir White is officially listed as doubtful. Alexander Mattison moves to RB32 against Denver. The matchup is still brutal, and the Raiders’ offense is one that you are mostly ignoring this week, except for rookie tight end Brock Bowers.
