The List: Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 7

Top 150 FLEX and positional rankings for Week 7 of fantasy football!

Week 6 is in the books! Hopefully, our rankings helped you decide who to start and sit, and you survived the week with a win.

Week 7 Wide Receivers

Garrett Wilson is a player I’m lowering expectations for in Week 7. Wilson faces the Dolphins, who have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, with just two receivers surpassing 50 yards against them. Wilson will likely line up against Chris Johnson plenty, who ranks as the 21st-highest-graded cornerback this year. The return of Omar Cooper also appears to have impacted Wilson’s target share. I’d still start Wilson in most situations, but I’m lowering expectations for him to deliver 100 yards and a touchdown in this home matchup.

I’d also send Tre Tucker back to the bench in Week 7. While Tucker managed to produce some garbage-time numbers against the Bills, he faces a much tougher matchup against the Rams. Los Angeles has allowed just one receiver to surpass 50 receiving yards this season, making this a difficult spot for Tucker to produce. His best chance at fantasy relevance would likely come from finding the end zone, but without a touchdown, it could be a disappointing fantasy day.

On a more positive note, get Jaylen Waddle back into your lineups for Week 7. Waddle has struggled in recent weeks, but the Cardinals present a perfect opportunity for the veteran receiver to bounce back. Arizona has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season and has surrendered at least 80 receiving yards to a receiver in four straight games. This is exactly the type of matchup Waddle needs to get back on track, and I expect him to deliver a strong fantasy performance in Week 7.

A true sleeper option this week is rookie Ja’Kobi Lane as the Ravens face off against the Bengals. These two teams have averaged 54 combined points over their last four matchups, creating the potential for another high-scoring game. With Lamar Jackson trending in the right direction to return this week, it should only help Lane’s fantasy outlook. In his first game back, Lane saw five targets and finished with 40 receiving yards. If you’re struggling to find a reliable receiver this week, Lane could be a boom-or-bust FLEX option worth taking a chance on in Week 7. –Steve Pintado

Week 7 Tight Ends

The name “Kyle Pitts” evokes eye rolls from many fantasy managers burned by unfulfilled promises of greatness. The frustration and hesitancy are understandable, but truthers, rejoice! Pitts has produced for fantasy managers in back-to-back weeks. More importantly, his usage and utilization in recent weeks with Michael Penix Jr. under center have been remarkably higher than comparative metrics from the start of the season, when the Falcons offense ran through Cooper Rush and Tua Tagovailoa. Expect Pitts to continue a major role in Kevin Stefanski’s offense, a system that has been kind to tight ends in recent years in Cleveland.

It’s tough to pick a “fade” in Week 7 given matchups and availability, but we’re not as high on Juwan Johnson or Harold Fannin as we were earlier in the season. Johnson’s snap count is capped by a head-scratching rotation involving Noah Fant and Oscar Delp. Fannin no longer serves as a primary target in an offense that has been given a lift by the emergence of K.C. Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Johnson and Fannin should finish in the same relative ballpark as streaming options like Higbee and Hunter Henry, both of whom we endorse this week. We continue to like the opportunity bestowed upon Higbee by the injury to Terrance Ferguson, and Henry continues to enjoy the trust of Drake Maye, who is projected to go off in Week 7. –Drew DeLuca
